US Soccer contacted me today and asked about what we as Crew fans will be bringing in for the game on February 11th. So I just wanted to put this out there as I need to let them know by next week, preferably the earlier the better.
They basically want to know, the dimensions of any banners/flags, what they say, and or if we are bringing instruments how many, and size.
I know I have a couple two sticks Thoma Gol was working on for me and I think he has a large banner as well, but apart from that I'm not aware of anyone else doing much. So just get post on here (with an image if you can) what your going to bring and any other details that might be of importance so I can relay that information to US Soccer later next week.
Thanks guys!

I'll be obtaining a US flag from someone currently in DC.
I don't know the dimensions though. Apparently it's of decent enough size to be displayed above our heads like the Columbus flag.

Just to let everyone know, on the day of the game, all banners etc will need to be brought in at 4:00pm @ Gate 5. And again, Please share what size they are and what you are bringing if you can here in the next few days. I would hate US Soccer goonies to not allow you to bring your banner simply because they didnt know you had one.

Blake, can you post this info in the USA Men: Fans & Travel (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6)forum? I know a number of people have been asking about stuff like this over there. Specifically I know that both SoCal Brigade and North Jersey Brigade are bringing very large US flags. (pictured below)

Here is what Brunken of the American Outlaws posted... we know most the rules but nonetheless good info for outsiders.
The parking lots will open around noon, and gates to the stadium will open around 5:30.
We are meeting at Ruby Tuesday first though, and will march from the bar to the tailgate, tentatively at 5:15/5:30
Here is the stadium’s current prohibited items list:
No bottles, cans, coolers, containers, foods or beverages of any kind, powdered substances, televisions and professional cameras. No flag poles of any kind, seat cushions with backs, firearms, fireworks or any other weapons. All items brought into the stadium are subject to search at any time. Anyone with an item that does not pass security measures will be asked to either take the item back to their vehicle or dispose of it. Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags or any other bags may be brought into the stadium, but will be thoroughly searched at the bag inspection area. Security parameters are subject to change any time.
So, I am obligated to say this, but bring and do at your own risk of removal. If you want to bring stuff in on this list for good reason, I will still send it to US soccer for approval.
Early entry for banners, flags, drums/instruments 4:00 pm game-day at gate 5. Let me know.
Thanks,
bradd

Heres hoping the VAST majority of gear/banners/shirts/etc is USA not CREW. I know we will see some yellow - hell I'll be wearing a bit on my head - but beyond that I hope its huge majority USA/Red.
And no this is not a club vs. country debate starter so please don't go there.
GO USA!

Agreed, don't need any Crew banners, but our Columbus banner needs a good spot.

I will be bringing two banners, one is dependent on the roster.
One will be the new Jackpine Savages banner. The former 1st Kalamazoo Brigade is now the Northwoods Btn, 2nd Wisconsin Regiment, "The Jackpine Savages" and we will have a 3x5 banner. If anyone in Kalamazoo is looking for a banner, I still have the 1stKB banner and can bring it for you. (I am also still in possession of the Michigan Crew Fans banner--if anyone wants it, you can have it, since I'm not there anymore, either.) And any Wisconsin fans are welcome to join and be a part of us, we'd like to form a group.
The other is dependent on whether Jay DeMerit makes the roster. If he does, there will be a second banner for Green Bay Jay. Yes, there will be (felt) cheese involved. And no, I don't care if you think it's stupid. :)

As usual, my boudron will be coming in with me. Blake, is it going to need to go in early? Just need to double check.
Also, is it possible to make sure the FO allows us to get the bass drum from the office? More drums is always good in my eyes. I think I'll give Chris Wilson a buzz on that.

I was wondering about that, because the typical two-sticks usually could come in with the person.

When is the deadline on this? I might get in Bob Ross mode on Saturday with a two stick or two.
