Two goals and a helluva way to shut your mouth! :D

Damn, his first goal was pretty sick. Just lobbed it over Campistrini's head and into the far right corner. Like a chip shot in golf. I'll tell you what, maybe he should start and put Buonanotte on the far left. Take Abelairas out.

Look I don't want to quarrell with you. Like you, RIVER is my passion and I hate to be so f&cking right all the time about it . The reality is there is a serious lack of seriousness and urgency in the part of the club's management and a lack of balls and self-respect in the coaching staff and players. This dung about "not being lucky" is a load of crap. These fother muckers have to STOP BEING SUCH F'n CRY BABIES and do what they are paid to do. If it's the management; vote them out; if it's the players, fire their asses; and if it's the coaching staff, throw their asses out on the street. These jackies need to know that this is F*CKING RIVER PLATE and if you do not perform up to par, YOU WILL BE LET GO.
I do not know how long you've been watching the club but believe you me, this is NOT the RIVER PLATE I grew up to love. With the exception of Falcao, Ferrari, Gerlo, Bounannote and others like them, the rest are a bunch of Hasbeens and/or Wannabes. Gallardo - himself admitted - does not have the leadership qualities necessary to get these guys in shape. Fabbiani has a good heart but good intentions are just that. He needs to shut his face, put his money where his mouth is and SLIM DOWN.
I also believe the club needs to get serious about the coach they hire. The players have a lot to be accountable for, but if they are managed by a coach that inspires them nothing, they will reflect that in the field. I mean, the recent "parade" of failed, recycled and 2nd-class coaches RIVER has seen is laughable. They say it's because there is no money - BULLSH1T! Where do you think the bulk of the money needed for the club to exist comes from? You got it - RIVER Futbol. All other activites organized by the club are 90% - if not more - financed by the earnings made through RIVER futbol. And if RIVER does not put out in the field, the sponsors and advertisers will start to trickle out - and so will the money. Management has to understand that an investment in proven, good-quality coaching is an investment in the club's future as a whole.
As it is, RIVER is a hair away from being knocked off LIBERTADORES 2009 and a week from sunday we meet la bosta at the bombonera. Let us pray...

Look, I was one of the first people to say I didn't know if it was right to bring Gallardo back. But he came, he's here, and now we just have to support him and wish the best for him and the team in general.
And yes, I've watched River long enough to know that this is not the River we're accustomed to... believe me. I've said it before: many players (Abelairas, Archubi, Ojeda, Rosales, etc.) shouldn't be anywhere near the club. And I agree, Gorosito is beginning to show that he isn't River material (vs. Nacional he made several errors, the biggest one was finishing the match with a horrendous 3-3-4 lineup).
But what can we do man? Put banderas negras and abandon the team? This is not Boca. In the mean time we just have to support the team and wait till the end of the year when "Papada" Aguilar leaves.
