Who collects these? I picked up a bunch to trade or give away to friends each time I go to Spain and have built up quite a collection when friends go places. I've got scarves from Turkey, England, Italy, Spain, Scotland and one from Poland. I've got Real Madrid and Liverpool displayed in my office. People ask about them all the time. Never really started out trying to collect these, they are great souvenirs to bring home from soccer excursions.

I unfortunately have a limited collection.

I have my DCU one hanging in my office. I also have scarves from the Mutiny, Fusion, and Crew.

From overseas I have a ManUTD and England scarve but that is about it.

I collect them. I have close to a hundred hanging on the walls of my family room and front hall.

I started out by draping them on my corner cube at work, but I had to take them home when I moved to a new building and only had 4 feet of exterior cube wall.

The secret to hanging them en masse is to put two small binder clips over on one end. Run picture wire about an inch from the top of the wall from one side of the room to the other, then put the back tab of the clip over the wire. Overlap the scarves, and voila!

If you are interested in trading/divesting, let me know.

A niche collection.

Besides the Earthquakes, also have the Crew and DC United. I would like to get the two sided version of both.

I got a PSG and Man Ure scarf that my former co-workers/buddies got for me while they were on vacation.

I tack them as if they were posters. It does account for a share of holes in the wall, but it looks good.

Cheers!

Me too.

Right now it's Washington and Boston that have scarves. I would like to see the rest of the teams with them.

All I have to say is that you must have a cool boss/employer.

Thanks for this thread -- now I can finally prove to my wife that I'm not the only freak who hangs these things in his house. I've got about 20, including a Tottenham FA Cup Final scarf, Barca, Real, Chelsea, Roma, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool (Treble), Celtic, Rangers (right next to each other; I swear that sometimes at night they knock each other off the wall) and -- the crown jewel -- San Jose Clash (historic by MLS standards, at least). I have mine hung over a gold curtain rod about 2/3 of the way up the wall (actually 2 different rods on different walls, about 10 on each). Only 1/2 the scarf is displayed this way, but I think it still looks cool. But it never occurred to me to hang the whole thing from one end (thanks AndyMead); I'll have to give that more thought. If you're looking for more, they occasionally show up on eBay. I agree that they're a very cool way to display your love for the game. I get many questions from friends about what they are and, after I explain, they almost always agree that scarves are much cooler than the triangular pennants or foam "#1" hands common in baseball and football norteamericano.

If you're ever near Charleston SC, arrange to go to Blackbaud Stadium to watch the battery.

They have a private club (you can buy one day passes for $20) that is done up like an English Pub.

All the walls are covered with framed memorabilia, principally signed European jerseys. It's overwhelming.

But the coolest is the Billiards room. The entire room is done in scarves from Euro clubs; must be a couple hundred. You almost can't see the walls, just scarves. It is absolutely killer.

The Three Lions Pub, and I believe I counted 92 scarves :p

I'm ahead! But the real treat is to wall the halls and stairwells. The entire interior of the building, not just the pub on the 2nd floor, is covered in replica, authentics, and memorabilia. Awesome.

I have heard that the CyberRays now have a scarf.

Speaking of San Jose, I'm still looking for a Clash scarf.

That's news. Do you know who's selling them? The only one that's official is the Washington Freedom (which looks like the Nike USA/USSF scarf). The Breakers were the first to offer scarves, but it looks like soccerscarf.com isn't selling them at the moment.

Cheers!

I myself only have a limited collection of 7, but am looking to expand. Other than team sites is there a decent online store that sells good scarves?
Any help is much appreciated.

I was going to collect Jerseys but they are so expensive to collect bunch of them, so I decided to collect scarves...

I went to business trip to Netherlands last month and bought PSV Eindhoven scrft from the stadium, and of course watched a game....
