In his state of the union, Pres Bush really took on "baseball, football and other sports" regarding the widespread use of steroids. Dick Pound applauded his statements.

Fortunately soccer in the US is not affected by these accusations.

And not to delight in the problems of these other sports, but how can soccer image itself more as the sport for the "average size athletic person" who is in "good shape" and "doesn't use supplements"?

Yeah, it's almost certainly not as prevalent as in big money sports. You want to vouch for every single player?

Can't use that angle. As soon as you start touting how virtuous your group is, someone will inevitably test positive and blow the whole thing.

[/sarcasm]Yeah, that prez of ours is really taking a tough stance on this one.....he is really stepping out and putting himself on the line here. "Steriods are bad.....we should get rid of them!!!" Wow, what a stance, he's a real leader. [/sarcasm]
