First off, this post has nothing to do with rivalries. Mods sorry if off topic but this forum seemed like the best place to get information. Please redirect as appropriate

Have been fortunate enough through business travel to see a few Premier league games. Work is taking me to a new place in the UK and am looking for some non-epl teams to check out

Will be going on a regular basis to Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. From what I can tell from mapquest it is between Lancaster and Bradford on the A65. It also appears that it is near Harrogate

Am looking for clubs and stadiums that I should check out in the general area. For a new experience, am looking for non Premier league teams

Please either post on this thread or PM me. Mods, post this in another forum that might be a better fit

Thanks

Thanks [/B]

I do not think this is correct, Mansfield is neither between Bradford and Lancaster or near Harrogate, so either you have the town wrong or the location.

I assume it is the location. Here is a link to a map, you can see that both Derby and Nottingham are quite close, offering Derby County, Nottingham Forest and the oldest profesional club in the World Notts County.

thanks Doc....you are correct. By the way, very helpful site, multimap. Was looking for a good mapquest type site for Europe

Remember Forrest from back in the day (Clough, etc), but think Notts County would be my first selection. Yet it looks like I'll be making multiple trips so will probably check out each of your suggestions.
