Good...he's been one of the biggest wastes of money in recent memory. But, he still has to pass his medical, which may prove quite tricky as it seems he's been injured with one thing or the other for the last few years. It's unfortunate...I thought he was going to be a good player for us. But, a waster like him off the wage bill is fine by me.

He cost 7 million Pounds. Ouch! Won't get a tenth I'll bet. And SirBob would probably be happy with a bucket of oranges and a pot of tea as the fee.

Thx,

Jay!

Wont' be much of a loss as far as I see. However, the money situation could be a big deal. 7million for a guy and you MIGHT get 500k for him in return. Sad sad sad, either way, good luck Carl!

A price of around 1.5 million pounds has been mentioned for Cort. And he will be off the wage bill. Maybe then Fat Freddy will give Uncle Bobby some cash for a player or two. But it still is just speculation right now and until he signs a contract, I won't be celebrating just yet.

Uncle Bobby is defending his purchase of Cort. Here's a link to the BBC site.

I thought Cort was going to be a great buy for us as well. He started out pretty well, but then got injured and never seemed to see first team action again. Quite a waste of cash and talent :(

West Bromwich Albion were looking to see if Cort would be a good striker in the First Division...

But it looks like he might get that chance next season instead. :D
