OK, I'm now expecting to see Mathis and Hannover every week on FSW. How realistic a hope is that? Does FSW get its choice of Bundesliga games, or is it contracted to take one specific game each week? How far in advance is the FSW schedule decided, and can it switch to Hannover's games for the Clint-curious?

Any help appreciated.

Sports marketing agency ISPR decides which Bundesliga games to export to international audiences around the world.

ISPR has been known to export relegation battles involving awful teams near the end of the season.

ISPR, recently acquired by mega-agency SportFive, will end its association with the Bundesliga at the end of this season.

The new international TV contract cannot be executed until the Bundesliga sells domestic TV rights in Germany.

Is there any logic to which games ISPR exports? I take it pleasing the American audience is not among the top priorities.

ISPR probably targets South America, Denmark, Austria, and the nations formerly unified as Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia in no particular order.

No Bundesliga matches this weekend (Jan 24/25). Next weekend (Jan 31/Feb 1), they're showing Freiburg - Leverkusen and Werder Bremen - Hertha Berlin. Looks like no Hannover the first spring round of Bundesliga matches.

Hannover will probably be on TV maybe 2 or 3 more times this year. I rather see Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Stuggart, or Leverkusen play.

Just curious, and I really have no idea how the numbers might break down (though I know in either case they're minuscule): What's the larger viewership: American soccer fans who want to see Hannover because of Clint, or ex-pat Germans and others who prefer to see the best Bundesliga matchup of the week?

To be honest I don't care to see matches just because of Clint. He failed to impress at Rangers, Leicester, or for that matter first division Sunderland. Unless he scores a hattrick in his first game I don't think people are going to care for him that much anymore.

During the Saturday Bundesligia match on FSW, Alan Hopkins said they would be showing Hannover next weekend. I have yet to see an updated schedule with that match on there, but I'm sure he wasn't just making it up. BTW, Mathis scores in his debut......way to go, Cletus.

FSW has apparantly been succesful in changing Sunday's TV match to Bayern Munich v Hannover. They've changed the schedule on their home page. Great news, we get to watch Cletus, live, as he looks to score again for his new club. Good job, FSW, thanks for getting this changed for us.

Excellent news!

I would love to see Cletus drop a bomb on Ollie "I cheat on my wife and my girlfriend" Kahn :D

Come on Hannover!

I feel like the kid in Animal House who's looking at a Playboy when a cheerleader comes flying through his window and onto his bed:

"Thank you, God!"

And I hope Cletus says this to Kahn after scoring the goal.
"Oh yeah! I meant to do this to you in Korea." :D
