Reo-Coker on the books

we signed Nigel Reo-Coker from Wimbledon.

West Ham United have won the race to sign Wimbledon captain Nigel Reo-Roker.

Meanwhile, Dons striker Adam Nowland is also expected to sign for West Ham this week after a fee was agreed between The Hammers and Wimbledon's administrators.

Good to have him even though I know very little about him. He seems to have drawn positive reviews from what little I have read on the mailing list.

He's a England U21, so that's pretty good.

And thus, the MK Dons will most assuredly book their place in Division Two next season.

It's kind of funny but Milton Keynes had a Division Two club last season that no one supported. I just hope the past isn't prologue.

Reo Coker is quite a promising signing, Nowland is a striker, who is very well rated and is looking like he will sign by the end of the week.

Whether this is the turning point of our season or not remains to be seen.

Coker is cup tied though and wont be available until our game against Rotherham.

It is becoming very clear that Pardew is gonna do things the way HE wants and not anyone else. This is about time, for too long its been an 'old boys club'.

He is also a man not to be messed with, both David James and Ian Pearce questioned him, or showed ill discipline. Both have now gone.

Long may it continue.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a turnaround, because I'm damned tired of waking up early on Saturday mornings to listen to this team piss away another lead.

The difference is Pardew is ruling the roost, whereas Roeder was ruled.

Pardew is putting up and looking to make a difference.

I didn't know James and Pearce questioned him, but I'm glad both are gone now.

Pearce had a problem with punctuality.
Pardew was surprised and dissapointed to find that some players couldnt make it to Chadwell Heath in time for the start of training, so he put back the start time 30 minutes. One player in particular (Pearce) was still regularly turning up late even after the delayed start time. Pardew didnt like this and decided that Pearce's attitude wasnt right and actively sort to get rid of him.

Regarding James it was a dissagreement over training regimes.
James always preferred to train on his own with Miklosko. When Pardew took over he wanted all keepers to train together. This wasnt to James' liking and he and Pardew had a disagreement.

There are quotes from the 2 parties involved that have been published after the sale to Man City that indicate this. I guess it shows both mens strength of characters as neither has come out and slaughtered the other party or slagged off them/club/etc etc in public.

I remember the stuff about training being pushed back, and it all makes sense now.
