I prefer every 4 years. It diminish the tournament to have it every 2 years.
Euro: every 4 years
Asian Cup: every 4 years
Copa America: every 4 years (from now on unless they change it)
only Africa and CONCACAF do it every 2 years.

As a neutral, I'd like to see it every 4 years. However, I do believe the smaller CONCACAF nations need this tournament every 2 years. Also, the top nations need the matches every 2 years to improve their FIFA ranking.

Every two years. For the simple reason is here in Canada our federation doesn't schedule nearly enough friendlies and when they do they are rarely against CONCACAF teams so it's nice to know that we will have a few games against CONCACAF foes every couple of years whether the CSA likes it or not.

Well, already the USA has announced that the Confederations Cup will take priority over the Gold Cup.
It seems quite dumb to have a tournament in the middle of the final round of World Cup Qualifying. Why would any team in that prioritize the GC over the World Cup? They'd be crazy to.

I think Max Bretos did say that last night, then corrected himself later on.

I have a question. Whoever wins the gold cup this year doesn't qualify for confederations cup Brazil 2013?? Only the 2011 winner right?? Does anyone know how that works?
