He's been linked with Chelsea, so I thought I'd ask you fellas what your impressions of him were. I've seen him play maybe seven times and was impressed, but not enought to really gauge what his strengths, weaknesses, tendencies are, etc.
Btw, this is in no way a trolling attempt - I have no interest in that. Just that we're linked to so many players these days, I can't have seen them all. And Rosicky himself has confirmed it so - I'm intrigued.
Just curious for opinions.
Thanks.

I believe he was a league transfer record from Sparta Prague.
I know they used to joke about how his uniform was too big for him!!
Definitely one of the most technically gifted and talented players in the league.
An important part of the in-form Czech team that has a real chance to make some noise this summer in Portugal.
It would be a real loss for Dortmund.

On the one hand Rosicky is small and looks like he could do no harm. On the other hand he is incredible agile and fast on the first 5-10 meters. He can play the final pass but still lacks goal scoring qualities.
The last match he played against an English team was in last year's Champions League in Westfalenstadion against Arsenal. While Borussia won 2-1 (in a lucky way as the penalty wasn't a clear one) Rosicky was the player of the match. Rated 2 (1=top class 6=not worth the money) while his direct counter-part Viera was only rated 4.

Remember that he also played in the Euro qualifier against the Netherlands and "escaped" Edgar Davids. In the national team he plays even more defensive than in Dortmund (behind Nedved).
He is rated something between 15-30 Mio Euro (depends on how many offers are on the table). If BVB misses the Champions League he will probably be sold as Rosicky wants to play this comptetion and as Borussia then needs money.
