This young striker is currently rumoured to be interested in a move to the MLS, and specifically Toronto FC. According to wikipedia he is currently attached to Newell Old Boys.
If anyone else has information on this rumour, or what he would bring to the pitch it would be much appreciated.

Yes, he has been with Real Salt Lake since February. He was not very fit when he came in February, but he is looking better now and has been signed for the rest of the year.

Escalada got up to the first team maybe twice in thast 3 years. He had the misfortune of playing on the same team as Salcedo and Cardozo for 2 years. absent card or injury, those 2 played very frequently, with Damian Steinert the pribcipal backup.
Did he bust his balls the way he should've to find a place? No. But, he played behind several better and more seasoned players.
