Inti Gas Deportes is a Peruvian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peru) football club located in Huamanga (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huamanga_Province), Ayacucho (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayacucho) however its current home ground is in Ica (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ica). Many of its former names are Aurora Miraflores, Olímpico San Luis, Olímpico Somos Peru, Olímpico Aurora Miraflores and Loreto FC. Inti Gas plays its home games in Ica at Estadio José Picasso Peratta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estadio_Jos%C3%A9_Picasso_Peratta). History


Aurora Miraflores

Aurora Miraflores was founded in 1958 and began to compete in its district league. It participated in many editions of the Copa Peru (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copa_Peru) and its greatest achievement in this tournament was reaching the finals in 1988 and promoted to the Second Division (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n_Peruana). In 1994 the Second Division was postponed forcing the club to play in their district league starting in 1996. In 2002 they merged with Olímpico Somos Peru who was playing in the Second Division.

Olímpico

Olímpico San Luis was promoted to the Second Division in 2000. The following year they changed the club name to Olímpico Somos Peru. In 2004 they won the Second Division and played in the finals of the Copa Peru to gain promotion, however they lost to Deportivo Municipal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_Centro_Deportivo_Municipal) in the quarterfinals. Beginning in 2006, they officially change their name to Olímpico Aurora Miraflores.

Real Loreto FC

In 2007, the club moved their home ground to Iquitos and renamed as Real Loreto FC in order to increase their fanbase. They failed to gain a large amount of support from Iquitos and for 2008 they returned to Lima.

Inti Gas

In 2008, the club received sponsorship from the gas provider Inti Gas. They relocated to Huamanga (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huamanga_Province), Ayacucho (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayacucho) but they decided to play their home games in Ica (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ica) because another Second Division team already had their home ground in Ayacucho and security issues that have risen. They were runner-ups of the 2008 Second Division (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n_Peruana) and were promoted to the 2009 First Division (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primera_Divisi%C3%B3n_Peruana_2009). Ica has recently sought to permanently keep the club in its city.

Con sabor a café y ritmo de vallenato, hoy aproximadamente a las 8 de la mañana arribarón a nuestra ciudad los miembros del equipo que forman parte del Inti Gas Deportes Ayacucho, que viene con una plantilla totalmente renovada para afrontar el descentralizado 2009, que arranca el próximo 14 de febrero. El equipo ayacuchano llego encabezado por el estratega colombiano Edgar 'Peinadito' Ospina, quien se muestra optimista de realizar una buena campaña, con los conocidos jugadores de talla internacional: "Kukin" Flores, Cesar "el cholo" Cahuanticco, Renzo " Ropita" Benadives, "Muricelago" Abel Lobaton, "Palermo" Jorge Leiva, "Raton" Ramon Rodriguez, los Colombianos: Alvaro "el Gato" Anzola, Sergio "Checho" Reina, Hector "Tanque" Rodriguez, entre otros jugadores nacionales.


Asuuu va correr harta chela....lo bueno es que en Peru ya no te despiden por ir borracho a trabajar :D
