Not mad about the thread title....

West Ham are really digging their heels in over players leaving the club. Now they have rejected Newcastles bid for Lucas Neill. Luis Boa Morte also turned down a move to Hull over personal terms.

Great title for the thread, especially since it dovetails with the title "LOL @ Tottenham."

How many Spurs does it take to change a light bulb? It doesn't matter, the lights always get turned out on them anyway.

This Kaka - City business is quickly making them one of my least favorite non-rivals. I used to have a soft spot for City, largely due to Reyna, but this shit is just retarded. This is exactly what we don't need in football. 2 million/month, 100 million transfer fee? Really?

You can be 4-5 top class players for that, just stupidity.

Calderon is done at RM, there will be a caretaker president until summer elections.

This also means that from now until September 1st, 2009 all we will hear are stories where different candidates are promising to bring in some chunk of Arsenal - Wenger+Cesc + random starter

That is probably very true.

Though my guess is that everyone vying for the job will do their best to get Ronaldo - they seem absolutely fixated on that one.

If you're United, how much do you need to get before you sell Ronaldo to:
a) Madrid
b) City

If I did my math right, 1 billion Zimbabwe dollars = $86 US.

Picture if you will, Dr. Carl Sagan as a football team's manager, throwng around billions and billions of euros, all over the cosmos.

Of course, Arsene Wenger's got his eye on that 15-year-old defender on Rigel IV!

I am pretty sure Ronaldo will play for Madrid within the next few years. They usually get their man and United will certainly have plenty of options to replace him.

There's no question that Ronnie would prefer Madrid to City (as would United), but if City offers the crazy money that Kaka is getting, I'd have to think that he'd listen.

Which is exactly Why Milan are probably leaning towards accepting. (atleast if the reports are true, but then again, we all know how accurate those things are)

City did the right thing here though, they went to Milano, and made them an offer to dificult to refuse. Thats the only way there gonna get there superstars now.

I could see this move happening. i hope it does too:cool:
