I think it is a wonderful decision on his part. He clearly still wants to play.
But a brave?!? decision? No way.

Anything that gets dipshit Yankees fans' panties in a twist is a great thing.

As a lifelong Yankee fan, I'm curious as to why my 'panties should be in a twist.' Clemens wanted to be with his family. Now he can. He's in the NL, so it would be hard for him to directly hurt the Yanks, and his presence on the Astros will likely keep Pettite at the top of his game (Clemens revitalized Pettite's career a few years back by training with him). I'm still a big fan of Clemens and Pettite and wish them nothing but the best in Houston. I respect their desire to choose less money to be close to their families. Anymore, when pro athletes usually can't name all their wives to say nothing of their children, I'm impressed by true fathers who are actually devoted to their families.

Haven't supported him since he left Boston. Traitor.

Clemens has brought Red Sox and Yankees fans together. Now both groups of fans hate him.
But since he stuck it to the Yankees, and would rather retire as an Astro then a pinstripper, I'm all for it.

He'll go into the Hall as a Red Sox.
I've gotten over any hard feelings by now. He's in the other league and the Yanks won't see him again, unless it's in the Series. Good riddance.

I hope Jason Schmidt beams him one. I can hardly wait to see this jackass up to bat on a regular basis.

Where was the option for "I think he'll get shelled like Pearl Harbor?"
