Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but ain't the Seattle Mariners owned by a Japanese owner that lives in Japan (and from what I was told..hasn't even attended a game at Safeco)? And aren't the Anaheim Angels now owned by someone that lives in Phoenix, Arizona? Anyhoo.....

Are there any NFL teams that are owned by someone that does not reside in the same city or even the same state?

The 49ers are owned by John and Denise (DeBartolo) York, who I'm pretty sure still reside in Youngstown, Ohio, though I'm sure they have a home in the San Francisco area as well. I know that Eddie DeBartolo remained based in Youngstown during the entire time he owned the team.

Minnesota Vikings is owned by a hick from Texas. His name is Red McComb. He attended every game in first two seasons he purchased the team, but he is not seen very much after that.

The Angels owner lives in Phoenix but has spent a lot of time in Anaheim with the team.

After he bought them last year he would walk around the stadium with a notebook during games asking fans what they thought could be done to improve the atmosphere and the team. That coupled with lowering beer and ticket prices made him look like a god to Angel fans, and that was even before he started buying every free agent on the block.

Ralph Wilson lives in Detroit and owns the Buffalo Bills.

Yes, Ed Debartolo remained based in Ohio, but he maintained a home in Menlo Park. I believed that he had an alledged sexual assault case taking place in that house.
