I guess he's back and healthy obviously, he scored the winner for the Lions in today's rematch to send Millwall on.

And the first goal scored by a Millwall defender all season in any competition. Getting any kind of offensive production out of the back has been a big big problem for them.

Anyone know where I can find a clip of Whitbread's goal?

does anyone know if ZW can or does play on the left or right side or is he a CB? would be awful nice to have a left back who is not a converted midfielder, CB and who manages to get playing time.

"ZW" played left back for the U-20s at the World Youth Cup and was OK. However, at least back then, he was less of a "natural" left back then Bocanegra, so the smarter move, in the event that ZW is USMNT class, would be to move Boca outside and play the bigger (and probably slower) CB inside.

I would be more confident with Whitbread playing left back in a big game than anyone in MLS. But that's not to say I'd be overly confident.

He's a central defender and a good one at that. I'd have him in the middle and Boca out left before I did it the other way around.

I just uploaded highlights of the game: http://watchsocceronline.blogspot.com/

Didn't look like a pretty game at all. He was at fault for the first goal. Zak did well to win the header on his goal, but my favorite is Millwall's first goal :)

Yea, Milwall's first is one of the worst goalie howlers you'll see. Heck, their second was some pretty shambolic defending by Crewe as well. Milwall were a bit lucky to win that game just from looking at the goals scored.

P.S. Zak is pretty tall, isn't he?
