For those who haven't heard yet...a report that Angel is a target of Wenger's for 8^6 GBP is heating up. Apparently, Villa are looking for 20 which seems more than absurd:

maybe, but 20 million is beyond comprehension. He came to Villa for 8.5, hasn't had much success until the first half of this season and they're holding out for 20 million? That's pretty laughable.

Yeah. back when I had cable I used to watch Futbol Argentino quite a bit on FSW, when Angel played for River Plate. He was an exciting player in a great league. I remember FSW kept showing some break away goal he had, with Max Bretos announcing "Angel, Angelllll, Angelllllllllllll, GOOAALLLLLLL."
Max Bretos, the only American commentator worth a damn. Anyone know what ever happened to him?

Anyway I think in the current transfer market 8 mil is highest ceiling for him. Honestly I wouldn't be disappointed to see him in an Arsenal jersey. Not cup tied either, perhaps he could settle a bit better in London.

Max still works for F.S.W.; He does commentary on matches and has "Max's Maximum Soccer" (I think that's the title) during the Fox Sportsworld Report, with highlights and such. He is the best on the channel! He definitely does his research; I think he knows atleast a little about every professional in the world!
