I would be there, but I am traveling to San Francisco to watch the Rangers in my cup match. Sorry bout that. Should be a win though, I've got three starters in the lineup to gain experience, and just make sure I don't get a WTF against a kid who's playing his first game in hattrick.

seriously gunner, your bro got a nice squad, I only had 3 solid skill area players, one IM and two Def. I did have quite a few passables though. One of my solids, who's still on my team, was a stud in three primary areas, with solid d, and passable playmaking and scoring. He's all over the field, I've played him everywhere but back in net.

Any predictions on the Deuteriumoxide vs kopiteinkc? That's definitly a match to watch on HT live. I don't know if Mark would want to lose bragging rights on BS for losing, so I'll go with Mark, maybe 3-1. Sorry Deuteriumoxide, have to go with the local team from Kansas City.

And Deuterium...I don't think the prostitutes will work. STFC's stamina training includes the wives. Go check out Mark's webpage for what I mean. :D

I believe I will win my match. It will be close, but I think I'll control the midfield.

I believe that I will win as well, it will be closer then my last game though, due to me using mostly backups.

Has anyone checked out the addition to hattrick? For those of us in Div V. or higher, we can now get a series "dream" team each week for the players with the most stars. Very nice cause I enjoy seeing where my players stack up with the rest of the teams in my division. I really like it. :D

On transfer deadlines -- in the major markets, anywhere from about 1000 to 2200 or 2300 seems to be hot. You'll occasionally see stuff pushing midnight HT time, and sometimes you'll find some nice night deadlines in the U.S. (nice because it's well offpeak for the Euros, so there will be less competition near the deadline).

So, basically, any time from (really) early morning to late afternoon, you should be able to find players with deadlines then. These days, if I want to make a transfer, I'll start sifting through multiple countries, bookmark players that interest me, enter them into an Excel sheet to organize, and figure out which ones I want to make a play for taking into account expiration time, skills, and price.

That's some very good advice, the problem is, NONE of that helps my team out right now, because this is the teams first game, and he hasn't picked anyone up as of set the roster time, so he's going with what he has, which should mean a win for me, good luck everyone.

One thing that has come up in the Defense trainers fed is to pay attention to the specialties of each player. If you can nail down where his headers, technicals, and quicks are you can subdue or counter them with the proper match ups from your side.
