and if u have could u give me some advice on how to get out of the hole? i know the offseason is coming so i won't be able to count on money from games

Selling players is the quickest and easiest way to recoup money.

Hard to do, but look for players valued over $100,000 and put them up for sale. Personally I'd weed out the older players or players you have in multiple positions.

my youth squad went to excellent and my first pull was a solid 19 yr old keeper

Congrats. Mine is still weak and my pull showed it. Weak in just about everything. At least he was consistent. :(

Mine's still solid, but should pop to excellent soon, probably this offseason or early next season, my pull this week was an inad playmaker now on the transfer market.

My youth squad has been excellent for at least a full season, maybe longer, this week's pull was fired before I blinked.

ever since my youth squad bumped to solid, my pulls have been crap

I've had a pretty crappy season for youth pulls as well. Broke even at the very best.
I was officially relegated last week, blew my training regimen by playing a 2-5-3 in a friendly two weeks ago (I thought that was legal?). Today I can take 7th by beating the 7th place team at home, and adjusted my lineup at the last minute, now I look at the match and it turns out I'm playing a 4-3-3. Really don't know how that happened. I thought I doublechecked everything. Pisses me off.

Yippie!

Won 2-nil and it looks like I get to play a qualifier next week since I should move into 6th place based on goal difference.

I only lost 2-nil to the #1 team in the series. I am really pleased. After 7 goal drubbings earlier this season, this was a great result. I'm sure he PIC'd but I kept him scoreless for 48 minutes and only his brilliant/world class defense kept me out of the net.

Managed to win 1-0 in a close one.

Got one of star mids injured for 5 weeks :(

Hiring doctors right now to get him fit for the new season.

Finished 4th in my series so no qualifier for me. The number one team in my series threw 2 of his last 3 and ended up having to play a qualifier next week instead of auto promoting. Not sure why he did that but I might be stuck with him again next season :(

2/16/2004 Boats apologize...
In a selfish move in Rd 14 Wilmington played less than it's best game against Daisies in order to move down from 4th to 5th and get a qualification game. Unfortunately the botty Daisies had built up enough points to move into 6th and with the Predators loss to Botswana FC the Preds are VI bound. This means that next season V.59 could start off with at least three or more bot teams. Next season would look to be owned by Wall Street United.

So that's my situation...on the debt thing I'm currently listed as -401,000 in the hole...will get up to -382,000 by the end of the week. BTW 5%= 5k per 100k of debt.

why dont u try selling one of ur star players? may seem a bit drastic but it will probably get you a good way out of debt if u have a good one

6-0 drubbing of the number 7 team and a 2-1 lose by the number 3 team to the last place team, allowed me to finish three points clear in third place so no qualifier. The way the sixth place team played against the number 1 team though, (9-0) I think that I could have 3 new bots coming up into the division, and possibly a weak IV team. Last time an IV team came down it was an abondoned team. We'll see what happens.

That's tough luck for the KC Dynamos, I thought you guys were gonna pull of the upset in that game and take the win. Unlucky, but I'm sure you'll mop up in division VI next year and be right back in div V. Now comes the worst part of each season the offseason. It's even worse this week, because for the first time I'm not gonna have a qualifer to get money from.

This is my first offseason. I'm not looking forward to it. I'm going to be bored out of my mind. Fortunately, my economy is in excellent shape. Banyuls is up to 713K. Oh my dear lord. Who would have thought.

That's just sick, he was solid/solid and my excellent went for $170K, no fair ;)

Don't spend it all at once! I can see earth movers heading across state line towards your stadium!

So what was the largest stadium in the US? :D

Metairie United AFC won 5-0 in the season closer, wrapping up a 4th place finish. The 3rd place team lost but we ended up with a +3 goal differential while they had +7.

The high point of our season was when young Wilfred Quezada came up from the youth system. We felt that it would be best for us to sell him and we did, garnering a $340,000 transfer fee. We wish him the best of luck in Switzerland's Division III.

The profits enabled our stadium expansion, due to be completed on Wednesday the 18th. The newly expanded stadium will seat 18,250 people. We'll be looking to bring in a good team for a friendly on the 25th to inaugurate our new stadium.

We hope to be competing for 2nd or 3rd place next season. Looks like a fairly good team will be coming down from Div IV.
