Are any of your series mates cunning? Mine all run the same formation and the same players in the same positions. The only time they use differing players is for injuries/suspensions. Some times, they don't even sub for those players.
I will change my formation once or twice a year, I take players out of games I don't need them in for if they've got a 2 yellow total already with the purpose of playing them in a tougher game. I'd change my player positions more often if my opponents didn't all (well 6 of 7) prefer to put their strongest players on their left side.
Also wanted to congratulate all of us on making this the most popular/used thread in the games forum. I'm sure it helps to get HT noticed just a little more buy people browsing through. Maybe we can hook a few more fish.

I too change my line up maybe once per season depending on what happens. A lot of it depends on the team in my division, sometimes, I'll throw in a back up keeper or other field player in if I know the team I'm playing is weak. A lot of the time though, I stick with the same line up as it is easier for me to remember what players to play in friendlies. I like to play with my line up though, and will do that a little more in the offseason as I am switching to training defender and am going to try to figure out a good set of starters and back ups.
And am I MOTS? Of course I will be, I figure my opponent will as well as he can avoid autoreligation with a win. I am MOTS in hopes that I can win, and the 3rd place team is upset or ties the 8th place team giving me third outright.
Not looking forward to the off season tho -- boring:(
You said it, this will bew the first season I avoid a qualifier though, so I'm gonna enjoy that, but not looking forward to no big game payout over the break. Oh well I got Helghallen to beat up on for two weeks. :)

Ow. What did I do to deserve that? :D
And on a really high note. I put a player on the transfer list 3 hours ago at 10K. He is now at 250K.

Just a little friendly competition to get your team ready for the game. :) Gotta do my league game first anyways.

I don't know that he's that nice, but $10k was a serious under-price (although possibly ridiculous enough that it will get you some nice action from players who bookmarked him looking for a bargain).

It is Banyuls. I started him low to generate interest. I guess it worked? Buddy values him at 220K for transfer. I'm still pleased.

There is a new game out there i have just joined its called freekick. it is similair to hattrick, but it is a new game so it isnt as pretty yet. I joined because ill be one of the first ones that plays the game. So i will have a better chance of playing in the highest division. It is in its first season match 5. I am not part of freekick, just thought someone here might want to know. I play in Hattrick as well in im division iv team name Real Hollywood. I posted here before but i think i used a different name. Hope to see you guys in both games.

My 17 yr old Swedish winger who I bought at a bargin when he was solid and $62k just went to excellent! So next season I'm going to have my first formable players and hopefully they get a call up for their respective U20teams.

wanted to post this site here so that I could use it later, but also for others to use. If all holds true, I'm gonna be playing a bot from Missouri for my opening cup game, which would be nice.

The cup rank page also lets you predict your play in game opponent, or who you will replace when de/promoting.
I'm supposedly playing a team from vi.134 called "Skullsplitters," but there's actually no team in that series with that name. I guess the guy got first in his league and abandoned the team, leaving the new guy (who just got his team on the 11th of Feb.) to play in a promotion game. Good for him if he can pull it off. Of course, if he remains my opponent, then hopefully he won't.
And I'm predicted to play the "Houston Vikings" in my first cup game--a bot team!

Remember that the rankings will get shuffled a bit after the games this weekend. After that, they'll be right (except in cases of all-around ties, where I believe Hattrick will break them with a random roll that can't possibly be modeled by external programs).

Thats me. :) Say how do you know you will go to V.215? In any case, I have to win this week to even have a shot at a qualification match to stay in V.215.

rite now im in a bit of debt, so i was wondering what's the most debt that everyone has been in. just about 2 weeks ago i was at about -230,000 but now im at about -140,000. i just wanna know just how bad this is and if anyone else has been in this kinda trouble before...
and if u have could u give me some advice on how to get out of the hole? i know the offseason is coming so i won't be able to count on money from games

Well right now I am in 7th. Should I win and the 6th place team loses, I move into 6th place based on goal difference.
I have no idea who I would face in a qualifier match if I do make 6th.
I'm hoping if I do drop to VI that I can still qualify for the US Cup.

well the most I was in debt was about $-2000 and that was only for half a day due to match day. The best think to get out of debt is either to sell some players, have a home league game, or reduce your weekly spending, either by firing some doctors or unnecessary specialists, or reduce youth fund spending. Those are the best things I can think of.
