So how did your youth pulls go? Mine was this:

Heriberto Rubio
163 000 US$, 18 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities


Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: solid
Winger: inadequate Defending: inadequate
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: inadequate


Debting what I want to do with him. I think I'll throw him in as a reserve and friendly player.

My YP this week was a burger-flipper, which is OK because I've already broken even for this season and last.

With the solid passing, Rubio might actually be worth training up as a forward, even though he'll be 19 before he hits passable unless he's high inadequate.

dumb question I'm sure, but how can you tell "high" inadequate or another ranking" with medium or low?

Otherwise, with field players, it's an art, and one that I have no skill with whatsoever. Some guys with a lot of experience can get so that they're pretty good at identifying guys who are about to pop.

With a guy like this, having this many skills contributing to his value, I think it would be almost impossible to tell, though, even for the guys who are good at that sort of thing.

(With goalkeepers, there's almost no mystery to it at all, especially now that Hottrick has come out with their keeper tool.)

My excellent youth squad pulled a player worth $3K, his highest anything was poor.

Despite his sympathetic nature, he was last seen on the dole queue.

youth pull is the most exciting part of my hattrick week. this week, i got a dumb player with inadequte on passing and winger. i was this close to firing him, but being a responsbile manager, decided to give him a chance at the transfer market. hope a newbie day trader picks him up or something.

hattrick buddy says his best position is as an offensive inner mid at 3.67...but i think ppl will c his playmaking as wretched and be turned off. any idea what i should list him as?

Personally, I wouldn't keep him, sure he has a passable and a solid, but none of those are in a set skill position, if he were on my team I wouldn't keep him.

He has better form than more regular keeper, but poor compared to weak, not sure what to do with him. Any ideas?

I'd fire him. He's wretched or poor in the 3 main trainable skills.

However, no reason not to put him on the market as an inner mid for $1k and see if there are any takers first.
