On the spokespersons...I am new this season in Div. 5...but active since week 16 of season 20. I have 10 spokespersons...and they really have kept my supporters and sponsors happy. I haven't won once since mid December...just two ties in that stretch and my Supporters only went down to satisfied. Sponsors have been Dancing in the Streets that entire time and my sponsor money goes up 3-5% each week.
Apparently I muffed my lineup for yesterdays league match and played 3-4-3...I beat an abandoned club 1-3, but would have stomped them had I played 3-5-2 or 4-4-2, which I have better experience with. I'm fighting to hold on to 4th place as 1 through 3 have cleared the rest of us by 2 or 3 games, I hold a 4 point advantage over the 5th place club.
HT is down again :-(

Yeah it's been down for a while, I#m trying to check my league result, causing being over in Europe, I was unable to watch. I know I probably got spanked, but I wanna know how I did. Come on hattrick help me out.

All y'all did fine in your games. I lost mine 9-0 to the first place team. What a way to start my stewardship of the team.....
I played using the 3-5-2 and, since it was my first game, I obviously had crappy experience using it (now it's gone up to solid). But I got this comment like 20 times in the match report:
"Flatirons had obvious problems in finding their positions."
Is this because of my inexperience in the 3-5-2? Or did I screw up something else?

That is exactly why, it is because of your inexperience in that formation.
Finally saw my score, I lost 5-2 at the number 2 team, I probably could have one if I played normal, but I PIC because I needed to get team spirit up for an upcoming game I need to MOTS. Kinda disappointing that I lost when normal would probably give me a tie. I'm only 3 points above 5th right now, with the number 1 team at my place next week, followed by a game at the number 5 team(which I am MOTS hoping to win prize money and avoid the qualifier for the first time in my clubs history).

Well I decided to shell out some money and am sending my captian to coaching school so he can get his Class A Coaching Degree where he will be passable who is neither fond of attacking or defending.
Hopefully traing will speed up a bit faster and I can get some cash next week before I lose some of supporters club when I take the drop.
I'm aiming to start rebuilding next season right now. Looking to pick up another inner midfielder who is passable and cheap too. I assume there is a very good chance that I will get a bot division or one that is mainly bots so it should help me get my TS up and make some money with sell outs if I start winning again.

i was wondering if some1 could help me wit a question i had... i know that if i'm training, lets say passing, that only the passing skill level will go up for the players that play a game during the week.
i also know that when u promote a youth squad player that theyr skills are supposed 2b random but it depeneds on the quality of your youth squad.
but i was wondering if training had anything 2do wit their skills. for example: if im training passing does that mean that when i promote a youth player that he is more likely to be stronger at passing than his other skills or are all his skills random?

No, it is tottally random what the skills of your players are going to be.

on normal. Couldn't risk a PIC since my PIC tie last week to the #8 team at my place. Geez. Really wanted to PIC cause I wanted the opportunity to defeat the #1 this week.
So I'll probably PIC him this week so that I can make my run at winning the rest of my games and regain second (after likely losing it this week). Funny thing is, either the #1 lost favor with the HT gods or he got a bad pic result because he tied the #7 team.
My new 20k stadium will be ready to host the #1. Bring in the dough! Will be interesting to see the turnout for that game as I'm curious whether or not 20k is enough for that game. Not that I can afford another expansion any time soon.
My form is finally decent. One of my two solid forms bumped to excellent but I couldn't play him due to a suspension. Hopefully that overall form trend will continue.

My stadium as well will be ready for the game next week. I really hope I don't sell out casue then I need to enlarge again and I don't have the money to do that so hopefully I get somewhere around 17K or so, cause that'd be a nice round about.

my team just got a bit weak in the defense after naming my captian the new manager so I bought a passable 27 yr defender from Holland and another young inad player for midfield support.
I won't be expand as I will have to wait for the D VI season to start and hope I get alot of wins that are worthy of a sell out. ;)

did anyone read the "platypus guide" to "starting strategy" at hottrick.org? i think its the best start up strategy i've ever read, apart from the fact that he suggests to invest 20,000 in the youth squad from the beginning.
after reading it, i sold my solid defender and got a solid coach. then i spent $260,000 on a new stadium... i'm super heavy debt but knowing that i'll win rest of my games, i'll be in a good shape as long as it doesnt rain on my home games.

When I sell out several games in D VI, then I'll expand. I already added 2,000 seats at the begining of the season so I'm so cool, I'm ice. :D

dude you wasted a ton of money
by that i mean, it costs 30k to exand alone, you should add at least 5k for your exansions, if not more.
