Won 2-nil and I stay up. :)

all the teams in my series won their qualies, meaning I'll compete against an opponent that I think will easily win this series. Was really suprised at the result. The #1 in my series, lost two players to cards during the match, had a much (?) poorer star rating but held on for a 3-2 win.
One of the autopromoted teams from div VI looks pretty good and will give a number of us a run for their money this next season. The other looks like a bot.
I'm ready for the next season. Bring it on! Can't wait for the fixtures to be set so I can begin to think about my game by game strategy....

Well done. Managed to win 4-1, so we can have our staying up party on Wednesday's friendly.
The team that came dwon from div iii and the two teams that xame up from div v all look quite strong.
Another relegation battle next season for me.
Check out Elwood's (Indy Racing) qualifier to stay in the major league. He ended up staying up due to a penalty shoot out. I would imagine he is a wreck right now. Well done Indy! :)

I caught the end of Elwood's shootout in Criollo, and as one of his supporters I'd like to add my congratulations.
My series winner lost his qually, as expected, and the fifth and sixth place teams won theirs (although the fifth place team was replaced after the last league match), so there shouldn't be much changing in my series unless the non-abandoned promotee from VI turns out to be stiff competition. My main competition from last season (the #2 team, which I drew twice) has gone on a day trading spree to capitalize on the end-of-season team spirit reset. Good for him (smart move), bad for me.

got a passable squad. Pulled a passable playmaker...
18 year old
Stamina:....weak......Goaltending:...disastrous
Playmaking:passable..Passing:........weak
Winger:.....poor........Defending:.....weak
Scoring:....poor........Set Pieces:....disastrous
Wondered when I'd ever get a decent pull.

Back to D3 for the Snorky Nation. That's twice that I've tossed away an opportunity to survive in the upper altitudes. It won't get any easier. Cruddlecakes.
On the other hand, I probably have more experience in promoting out of D3 than any player in Hattrick right now.

My best pull was with a week to go in the season, I pulled a passable defender that will probably start for me next year, and then this week I pulled an inad defender who is 17, who I'll train next season when I train defense. Would really like to pull a decent more offensive youth, but we'll see what happens when my program reaches solid in the next few weeks.

Youth squad has gotten me a few gems - including a possible U-20 member in James Boyce, though he was injured this season... part of FC .Haos, Romanian Cup Champions, who gave me 2.35 million for him as a week 1 17yo solid playmaker. He'll be 19 now, so he's even in the right U-20 cycle. Sadly, I haven't had anything good recently.
Won my qualifier 2-0, so I'm going up to IV, where I expect to finish in the top six. One of the autopromoted teams isn't particularly good, but the other was constantly one of the top 5 teams in V in Hatstats last season with ratings in the mid-80s. The league also has one walkover bot already, so I should be all set to finish at least 6th. I desperately need to get a quality playmaker, but the players in my training program aren't to the point where I can sell them for enough to get the level of midfielders that I want.
MIT FC - was V.15, now IV.51... swapped numbers. Cool.

I can check my upcoming matches but the series fixtures aren't updated yet. Very soon.
Geez, I've got it bad. Withdrawal that is... :)

I keep seeing people in conferences thanking their supporters...
What is it? Why is it necessary/cool? How do you get it (I assume by becoming a HT supporter)?
I'm really liking this mother club money thing. Couple of my guys keep getting traded and putting a check in the mail back to me.

People who have supporter can "support" up to five teams. That means we get notifications in the thing at the bottom of the screen when the clubs we support log in or put up a new press release. We also get a direct link to their last game. You don't have to have supporter to be a supported club.
If you have supporter, you can also see who supports you. Combine that with your ability to make a sig in the conferences, and you get people thanking their supporters.

Lost 3-nil, but no one got hurt. In fact, the players exchanged jerseys afterwards. :)

No wonder my economy is in such bad shape. Got to stop giving the kit away after the match :)

Dang... didnt think in a million years that 3-6-1 would be considered "incomprehensible" formation.
Anyway, my youth squad is considered
"inadequate" right now. Is there any point trying to promote a player from the youth squad?

Always pull a youth each week. You never know what you will get. The best pulls I have had were a passable forward and keeper. Worst have been last seen ____________________________________(fill in the blank).
