Oh yeah and my midfielders all have pretty bad stamina. Even after their stamina training last week.

My best three had Solid Stamina/Pass form (2star), Weak Stamina/Weak form (1.5star), and Poor Stamina/Solid form(1.5star).

I had one more midfield with a Weak Stamina/Poor form, one Weak Stamina/Pass Form (probably should have started this one) and a Wretched Stamina/Pass Form.

Geez....

Make the best of what I got.

I did notice that my team has disastrous overall experience compared to his weak/poor. That and his home field advantage may explain some of my bad fortune. Home field advantage is reflected directly in midfield rating. Experience should be reflected in player star ratings.

Nothing else to say... looks like a reasonable formation... you're playing Barnard offensive, he's got good passing, right?

Yes, Barnard is my best passer and I was taking advantage of that particular skill.

I don't feel bad about this game. I had a shot at it. Just wondered if you all saw anything I shoulda done differently. Thx.

Now that the new economic changes have been annoucned, I went to the trouble of looking at my PR staff, and seeing that I have four. Hattricks ( http://www.databased.at/hattrick/index.asp ) said you should have as many spokespeople as you can afford. My supporters club has been steadily climbing for five seasons (with a brief drop when I lost two straight games some time ago), and I'm wondering if I've been cheating myself out of a lot of cash. How many spokespeople do you have, and how much sponsership money do you get?
For the record, I have four, and I've been getting in the neighborhood of $100,000 a week for a long time.

What level league are you in?... This is my first season in IV USA and I get about 80K in sponser money a week, and I have 1544 supporters... I've had 10 spokepersons the past 2 seasons... This is my third season playing, 2 in level V, and now in IV... My sponser money has gone up every year I've played, usually around 1K a week...

What was the reason you both were censored in the USA conferences during the CCG? discussion... I'd assume since this is a different site, neither of you would be held accountable for stating your opinions... If I remember correctly Lonestar was the one who had his post removed, and was just curious what you were trying to say that was censored????...

I in the English fourth division. I got $105k US last week with a supporters club of about 2500.

I wasn't involved, but I believe the reason for the censorship was discussion of how CCG got caught at cheating, the exact telltales that were reported. HT team doesn't like people talking about it because they want to keep the cheaters from getting more sophisticated (notwithstanding all the idiots that do things that are really obvious).

I carried ten at the start of the season but I started cutting back because my payroll was a little too high. I'm at seven or eight right now, and my sponsor income is over $40k in USA.V. At the last update, I had 720 to 730 supporters (don't recall which).

I'm not sure that was the case, don't think anyone was saying how he might of cheated, we were just discussing AYSA Exspress missing promotion because of one of CCG's teams and then BAM thread closed, and another thread asking why they were censored...

Well right now I'm training scoring and have been for 90% of the season. The other 10% was shooting. Right now I have thrown him into the starting XI as he will be useful even right now.

On a sad note, I have to part ways with mu Super Swede in debt(almost 300k). He is a forward w/solid scoring, excellent stamina, and passable set pieces. Not bad for a 24 yr old. Lars-Ove Mikaelsson (1923540) Right now the highest bid is $100,000.

I'm going to try the CounterAttack since I'm going up against a more skilled opponent with my wretched midfield. I'll let you know how it goes. My biggest advantage is I'm playing at home. I'm going to stick with my formation - 352... maybe. I might change that at the last minute. My long term training goals are more important I think.

Let 'us' know what new tactic you're trying, why and how it went. I'm interested at least.

Make that a happy note. The same guy who bidded $100k for him, then made a $150k bid and to top it off, I got rid of my old man keeper who did next to nothing for me. So I went from almost $300k in debt to $115k. Plus I have a friendly at my place this week and the next friendly is across town. Saving some money on airfare. :)

My long term training goals are more important I think.Your long-term training goals are DEFINITELY more important than something you might try in a friendly. (I train keeper, so I can afford to do interesting things in friendlies :p, but that's not true of people training outfielders.)

Still, you CAN develop alternatives that fit into your team strengths (or weaknesses) and your training goals.

Let 'us' know what new tactic you're trying, why and how it went. I'm interested at least.I'll be trying one of them in a friendly cup game... I'll report on how it goes.

Argh! I'm a little POed at my federation chairman. We are in the middle of a cup-of-friendlies, and the cup rules are that the home team is responsible for inviting the away team for the friendly.

I left on vacation a week and a half ago, and before I left, I invited my opponent. After I left, he declined (I assume accidentally) my invitation, then tried to invite me. Of course, I wasn't around to accept. So now I'm the one being givan a 3-0 forfeit for not inviting him to the friendly.

ARGH!

After the lineups the match report stated, "Mongrel clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could, using their inadequate talent :) for it. It was an obvious ambition of Calcio to attack on the flanks."

I switched to a 4-4-2 at the last minute since I'm training stamina this week. Moved my left winger into the middle and played CounterAttack. I went up 2-0 early but I think my team's overall stamina contributed to better chances by the visiting squad later in the game. I could be wrong but that's my take on it. The visitors ended up winning 3-2.

BTW, I played AIM out of a 3-4-3. Wound up pitting a solid central attack against a poor central defense. Lost 5 - 1, with four of the goals coming on the wings, where my defense was passable and inadequate. :(

I'm not sure if the defensive sector ratings included the AIM penalty or not.

I'm not sure if the defensive sector ratings included the AIM penalty or not. Well, I e-mailed the guy and he said he'd award me the win. I responded and suggested we should just call it a draw and have the next leg be played at my stadium instead of his.

Trained stamina again for the second week. Minimal form drop off. Only a few guys lost form. Most stayed steady. Got one IM that is still stuck at wretched stamina. The rest are inadequate with one guy at solid. Naturally my solid is an Inad PM. My IMs had the absolute worst stamina on my team.

MOTSing my opponent this week. I lost 2-1 at his place earlier this week. I need the points badly. Got to beat enough of the lower ranked teams in my division and my opponent fits that category. I don't play the remaining bot-team until the last week of the season. Hopefully he doesn't get humanized before the end o the season. I bet I'll need that win to get into/stay in 5th/6th place.
