You can change the names of both. I believe it is somewhere around $4,000 to do so. I also believe you can relocate your team as well as far as region.

When I first signed up, I mistakenly placed myself in Washington state rather than in Washington DC. When I changed it I noticed little adverse reaction, I don't even remember if it was a fee or a small loss in supporters.

Thanks for the tip about inviting Swedish teams in for a friendly

I managed to get a Swedish div iv team to visit next week. Most of the higher teams are still playing cup matches.

I invited about 12 teams who were out of the Swedish cup and got a team to bite. We'll see if we get a decent crowd.

Yeh I never have a problem a Swedish team accepting if I am prepared to travel.

Getting them to come to me was a nice surprise.

League results. How do you do this week?

Almost halfway through the season what are your prospects for the remaining 8 weeks?

I think have a chance to go unbeaten. I played it cool again and managed to win 9-0!! My team spirit is now listed as "Paradise on Earth" and Confidence as wonderful.

Steeling my players for a better run at div iv next season.

Won this week 6-0 with PIC, but lost one of my midfielders to a red card. Still got high ratings, even with him gone. I'm currently in 3rd, one point behind 2nd and six behind 1st - don't think I'm going to catch up with the guy in 1st, but I have a good shot at finishing 2nd. Now, the question is how I'll manage to stay afloat money-wise... stupid rain keeps my home crowds low.

After picking up 7 points in my first three games, I've dropped three straight (3-0 this week) and fell to sixth. I play the division whipping boys the next 2 weeks, but I fear I'm going to have to play a playoff match at the end of the season. My team is not getting better fast enough! Hatstats says I'm in one of the tougher Div.IV leagues, but I'm not complaining - I made some poor decisions when I started and I'm still paying for some of them.

I defeated Yuma Bulldogs (yes, the club with the 8.5 star goalie, tops in the USA) 3-0, and that with 10 men from the 33rd minute or so forward. My stupid #3 defender decided that 2 yellows would be a good idea. The victory pushed me into a tie with Streamwood United FC for 2nd place, we both have 4-0-2 records and trail Aguilas who has an impressive 5-1-0 record. Hattrick says I'm behind on goal difference, but since I defeated SUFC 4-3 in his stadium in week 2 I feel I'm really ahead of him.

:-)

According to HatStats my rating placed me in 17th place overall, I'm happy with that.

I intend to PIC my cup match again, and I'm sure I'll lose. I don't really care, though. My non-training reserves are starting to really suffer, form-wise.

I know you guys won't feel sorry for me, but this season is a STRUGGLE!

I'm thinking I'm surely going to get demoted, though I sit 6th right now (and home field would be a huge edge in a qualifier - just ask George!).

Yellow cards are mounting, and maintaining a Cup run with suspensions and guys with 2 yellows is rough, taking into account that Sunday matches are also important for ML survival. Maybe 2 seasons is all I can muster at the top?

Ah well, a 5-2 win over Wizards in week 2 will likely be the highlight of my season. It really should be hard to complain about dropping from ML to II. But I'm managing to do it :)

Good luck to all ya guys left in the Cup (unless you're Cleveland Infernos!)

Ah, maybe you need to increase your squad depth...you're in the same boat I've been in every season since I joined...that's why I've got excellent playmakers riding the pine, waiting for someone to break their leg in half...which seems to happen about every two weeks.

Ah.....you must be playing against Dema Kovalenko then :)

Just won my cup game. Second week n a row where I got beaten significantly in the ratings, yet won anyway. 1-0 victory in stoppage. I can't believe I'm still in this thing.

Does the 6th place team have to play away for its qualifier? That's what Indy's latest post seems to infer, but I can't remember...

Or are you just saying that maybe you won't get demoted, because your qualifier will be at home?

I am in 6th and will probably have to play a qualifier (though I think I'll move up to 5th) but I was counting on playing it at home...
