Rummenigge is really starting to get under my skin. Since he has been designated as the liaison between the Bundesliga and the national team, he has flip-flopped badly on several issues. His involvment with the G14, where he has made several flip-flopps as well, does nothing to enhance the standing of the Bundesliga, rather it diminishes our domestic championship. And now he speaks "for" the Bundesliga, and proposes games on Sundays, and on top of that, in a time slot to take on F1? Rummenigge needs to understand that he is a football administrator, not a high powered corporate raider! Football does not need to exist to the detriment of other sports. If he had his way, me as a fan of many sports, would be left only watching his product. And wouldn't it be sad if the amateur kickers im Ruhrgebiet would have to give Schalke-Dortmund a miss because Herr Rummenigge disregards the backbone of our game?
Am I the only one out here who feels Rummeigge sometimes talks out of the corner of his mouth, and doesn't plot a straight course?

Rummenigge's main priorities are, in order, Bayern, then the Bundesliga, then the German national team. So he's going to act accordingly.
Frankly, Rummenigge seems to be the least annoying of Bayern's management team. Hoeness has diarrhea of the mouth and Beckenbauer thinks his shyte doesn't stink.
So what issues has Rummenigge flip-flopped on?

Rummenigge flip-flopped on the following issues:
Pro European super league. Then, once again pitched the domestic leagues as biggest priority when it looked like the G14 wouldn't get their way.
Pro extended CL schedule, then actively called for smaller schedule, then changed once more to bigger schedule.
Called for every club in Bundesliga to unquestioningly support national team, while he himself puts pressure on Bayern players to forego international friendlies. One of the biggest whiners to get the DFB to pay money to clubs for players playing internationls.
Hoeness I don't mind, really. I wasn't positively impressed with the Kirch-TV secret contract, but on the other hand, it didn't really hurt any other clubs.

Even if this goes against popular opinion, but i think Hoeneß is the only one there who cares about something other than himself.
