You goal in 86 has been outdone. Maicon of Brazil scored a goal AT LEAST as nice against Paraguay in the Olympic qualifiers. Trying to see if I find a video link. He dribbled from the defensive side and passed 6 plus the goalie vefore scoring.

I am brazilian also but you can't compare the goals...

Maradona score against England at the WC, Maicon wonderful goal was against Paraguay! in a pre-olympic tornament...

Anyway I think this U-23 plus 3 will be the best team we ever sent to an Olympic, It's NOW or NEVER

Regards

I saw the goal. Heck it didn't even look like the Paraguayan defenders were even trying. They were basically running alongside Maicon. Only player that actually tried was the goalie.

haven't seen Maicon's goal but I did see Maradona's and the english defenders didn't try that much either until he got in the box.

Yeah, It didnt look like the Brits tried to hard to get Maradona in the 86 WC. Sure its one thing to score that in a WC final but this goal was just as nice as a goal, even more so because Maicon starts out just outside his box, unlike Maradona in midfield.

SoccerScout, your enthusiasm has always been a bit infectious, if not a little absurd, but this one really takes the cake if you're serious...
