Great news! It looks like the home leg of the quarter finals against Santos Laguna will actually be at home!
As long as they can manage to keep ice and snow off the roof, support cables, and tower during the run-up to the game, things are a go! This is going to be awesome.

No extra seating: 55k permanent seats.
I think lower bowl is about half (28k or so):

Looks like they've put around 35k tickets available to the public.

I wonder why they put the Santos supporters section across from the camera then? Also, any more updates on tickets sales?

U better hurry, I just got mine and the clerk told me that they've sold over 20 000.. The good seats are going fast, u'll get stuck in the nose bleads... The VIPs are all gone and they may even have to open more sections.

Less than two weeks since ticket sales started, the Montreal Impact announced Monday that more than 20,000 tickets have been sold for the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, that will take place on February 25 at Olympic Stadium.
That's great at least someone is showing a attendance example

The high ticket sales are encouraging, and will definitely be a highlight in a long winter without live soccer to watch. I wonder what the percentage of Santos/Mexican league fans will be? I know if this game were in most any part of the US, the away fans would definitely be in the majority.

In the game against Atlante a good half of the fans in the stadium were Mexican (I was at the game). What I find funny is that I saw very few Atlante fans, rather they were all there to support 'Mexico', and not the actual team. I expect the same against Santos.

I don't think there were that many mexican fans at the Atlante game, at least in the south stand. And they were mostly quiet except for yelling "puto" every time Jordan kicked the ball. A lot of mexicans come as laborers in the summer or fall and may not be around in february.
I hear they sell 1000 tickets a day, will get 30k for sure, maybe 40k.
