Ranieri asked Jesper to play only 45 minutes in Denmark's friendly against Scotland but Gronkjaer has asked Morten Olsen to play the full 90.
Jesper is in no position to go against the Club's wishes at such a time. He would rather play the full 90 minutes(as if it's possible for him to do) in a meaningless friendly and jeopordise playing time in a huge fixture for his Club. His stance on the subject is very disappointing.

Methinks ole Gronkjaer has snifed the winds of change at the Bridge and is eager to show some degree of skill with the national team.
With the emergence (at last) of Zenden and the continued good form of De Lucas it is obvious who will have the flanking roles at the club.
Has yet to have a lasting inpact on the team and is best known for his famous belt and legit move, that has been sussed out by simply everyone, he no doubt sees limited playing time at CFC.

not in the Terry case, but with Gronks
we could have another Dessa/Petit- a player who looks the dogs bollox for his country but not for his club. He has plenty of pace and skill but we will have to see if he can even come close to being the Danish Ryan Giggs.

that he wasn't in the starting XI. Not by his own choice I'm sure. I'd hate to see him go as he is the only decent RW sub we have and he absolutely mauls slow fullbacks. But if we could get back the 7.5 mil we paid for him (or close to it) I would take it instantly in today's market. He is a one-trick pony that has 1 good game in 3 or 4. Unfortunately we can't count on Le Saux staying healthy and Stanic is our other backup option on the wings with Ambro back in Italia.
Someone put up Kitamirike's Icons post earlier. Sounds good that CR is training him to be a RB. No room at CB with the big 3 + Huth there, whereas he can back up MM for a season or two and we can let Ferrer go.
I wish GLS was fit for Friday. He was all over the place last season at OT, a one-man wrecking ball. I think he had a hand in at leats 2 of the goals. Hopefully Zenden and De Lucas can put in the same type performance exploiting United fullbacks and Jimmy and Guddy/Cole/Zola can expose the CB's.
