I may have some of the details wrong, but I know what I read and I can't remember it all.
There was a game involving the Revs in which Twellman gave Noonan a little back heel flick and Noonan then scored.
Someone posted a raving description of that little back heel pass and called it something in particular. Apparently, that move is called something.
100 points to the first person who can
A. Name that move
B. Recall the game it occured in.
This has been bugging me for weeks.

I think that Noonan fed Twellman with a nifty backheel flick, I think during our first game in Columbus. No help on the name, though.

yea, i know the game that Noonan gave the cheeky spin-a-rooney backheel to twellman on May 24th against Columbus. That was a pretty goal, I'm glad I got to see that in person.

Was it the October 4 game in Dallas?

July 4th @ LA
54th minute
New England had just drawn even a minute earlier.
Jay Heaps passed the ball to Twellman who was standing at the D. Twellman made this nifty little pass with his right behind his left, returning the ball to Heaps on the run, who scored.

I don't know how it's called around here. In Brazil that is a goal ( or pass) "de letra". Why I don't know. "de letra" means a Letter* Pass (or Goal).
* Graphic sign, not mail item.
When well executed it is a delight to see. As any other good pass, the time, the speed, the angle etc all have to be right. But here there is also geometry, ball control and surprise. The surprise element makes it impossible for the defender to act in time.
Goals "de letra' are scored on one to one with the GK, for example, and are great to see. It also can be used to make fun of the defending team and a yellow card is in order.

I've never seen anyone carded for kicking the ball however it's done - that would be a nonsense.

By the sound of it on another post in this thread, it might be called a rabona.
Here is a link to the video.

You lot need watch Soccer AM's piss-take of the american jargon in their focus on Boston Utd. A great one today when someone scored a screamer was that he had "checked in with Dr Volley".
