Definitely - we need to build up a lead to take into the 2nd leg.

Personally I think it would be crazy not to try your best to get to Wembley. CC is all over in February - plenty of time to concentrate on the league after that.

I would've agreed with you for the FA Cup match (putting out a weaker squad), although it seems Harry didn't agree and thought we needed a real strong squad. Seeing as this is again our best way into Europe, need to break out the big guns again. Still 4 days rest until Wigan on Sunday anyways.

you know, there are not really that many spurs players i would consider to be in good form right now. Does anyone think that Harry might be playing the "best team" in hopes that some players find some sort of form that could benefit the team. No one is going to find their form sitting on the bench, you know?

Because of our league position, I have always empathize on that. If we can win the CC, we will be in europe next season.

For the fa cup, we will be facing a tough man utd. I want it settle at OT, be it a win or loss. No draw as it will lead to an extra game for us.

As for the UEFA cup(unless we can get a string of wins and propel ourselves into the top half of the table), it will not be a priority.

The most important thing of our season now is to get 20 or more points from 18 games. Any other cup competitions wins will just be a bonus...

We were very poor in the first half. Absolutely bad defending from Bale. Burnley looked like the prem side in the first half.
