Liverpool draw Everton in the FA Cup 4th Round. Great stuff. Should get the pulse racing! The game is at Anfield. Discuss...

The game is the weekend after we host Everton in the League! So we have 2 Merseyside derbys in a week! Cool! Let's win 'em both and do the treble over Everton for this season.

As LB said, I'd rather win the league game. Ideally, I'd love it if we won both but Everton haven't been doing too bad lately, they have been getting results despite underperforming and they'll be up for these games to be sure. It will be interesting to see what sides he uses in both these matches.

BTW, Come on Spurs!

Well, Sarabella should drop by but she's hardly a troll. Mostly the Bitters hava sensa huma as after all they are Scouse or supporters of a Scouse team, like many of us, who either had or assimilated a similar sensibilty.

In!

The starngest thing happened.....Last night I was playing Fifa 09, drew Preston in the 4th round of the FA Cup, knocked them off and then drew Everton!

Then I wake up to hear the news that we got Everton straight after Preston!

What!

Bizarre :p

Ours just go to Goodison Park....:)

They replaced the "sensa huma" with prune sucking and bitterness.

To be honest, I'd love us to win the cup game more. I'd love for us to win a trophy and the FA Cup will be the only one we have a realistic shot at.

They're saying that the tie could be on Friday, the same day as Gerrard's court hearing. Could be a more interesting game, Liverpool sans Gerrard vs. Everton sans any striker :p

Gerrard's court hearing is on the 23rd and the match is on the 24th or 25th. So dont worry, he will be there and so will Lucas, who can try and beat Phil Neville again ;)

Rubbish. Let's win them both! What's better for morale, momentum, everything - beating the Bitters twice in three days (once with a B Team), or dicking out of the FA Cup tie?

As Shanks said - the best two teams on Merseyside are Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves. Here's a chance to prove it!

I call rubbish back

I've no problem with winning every game from here to May and taking home three medals. I might even fly over for the parade, but if I had to choose I'd take the league victory. That's exactly what my message said and implied. Nothing more or less.
