Yup, we are away.
It wont be easy.
Werent they finalists last year? After all the big boys got knocked out, i kinda lost interest in it and vaguely remember much about it.

They say no one remembers the losing finalist, but c'mon, it's been about seven months! ;)

I was watching the draw thinking, ''what would a tough away tie be?'' I didnt want Utd., Liverpool or Cardiff away!
Their support will be unreal when we go down there. Perhaps the most intense we have faced this season. We quitened the Fenerbache crowd with early goals but I dont think it would work against Cardiff.
Tough draw.

He's probably thinking, "Wow. As much as I'm excited that I get to play against my former team, I still can't wrap my head around someone who claims to support Arsenal AND Chelsea..."

he'll never get respect in here for that BITG.
i'm excited about an away draw to cardiff... sure their are easier draws, but we should handle them. if we dont, we have much deeper issues than what we have shown so far.

I'm not excited about the draw. In most other years I'd think this would be a great challenge. However, I'm afraid that we'll have to employ a fair number of the first XI, and given our depth issues and penchant for injuries, I'd prefer an easier opponent where we could rest the starters.

Could be an interesting draw for us and Cardiff. If it were at Ashburton Grove I'd say this would be a win but away in Cardiff I'm not sure it will be quite as easy as some people might think.
Looking at their ground (Ninian Park)...they actually have standing area terraces. I thought all clubs that played in one of the top three divisions of English league system (PL, championship, league 1) had to have an all-seater stadium...does anyone know why Cardiff City still have terraces? Did I not understand the rule correctly or do they have some kind of exemption?

They have gotten exemptions because they're moving to a new stadium soon.

Underestimate us at your peril. One of the form sides in the Championship, Leeds and Spurs have struggled down here and you're players will experience nothing quite like the atmosphere that Ninian will generate in 3 weeks times.
In her last year as our homeground as well (I'll miss my beloved Bob Bank Terrace... all I want to watch a match is some concrete to stand on beneath the stars:o), it is kind of ironic we meet again considering that we were your last FA Cup opponents at Highbury and indeed Cardiff City achieved their largest every attendance against Arsenal (57,893 in 1953). Oh, and THAT final in 1927... LET'S GIVE THE OL' GIRL THE SEND OFF SHE DESERVES... BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBIRDS!
