when I watch matches the screen at certain times gets pixeled and blurry and distorted. It's really annoying and bothersome. It only happens during games not during infomercials or commercials. What can I do to fix this.

I had the problem a couple of years back. It was really more of a problem with the Digital Cable reception in the building, actually--at least that's what AT&T said. Have you noticed the smilar problem with your other digital channels?

I have been having the same problem with the FSW games. I have not been having this problem with any other channels and as SportBoy noted, it's only during the match and not during the commercials.

FYI, I'm on DirecTV.

On my direct TV is usually works ok. But my girlfriend has digital cable and every time I try to flip it on over there, it'll be blurry at times and annoying or it'll not even come on at all. I think it has to do with who's showing it to you, not FSWD.

Meanwhile USA CONSUMERS still wait for a USA SOCCER HIGHLIGHT PROGRAM

Sorry that you thought this stuff was so funny the other times you used it, that you had to trot it out again. Perhaps if the dosages on your meds were increased....

The problem is the same with ESPN. They compress the hell out of the signal and you have a poor picture quality for the game broadcasts. I gather you probably have a large screen TV and or either satellite or digital cable? If you do, you probably have already noticed the huge difference in picture quality from one channel to the other. All of the compression contributes to the picture quality. When you get a good source signal the picture quality is unreal like the premium movie channels for example.

I think it has to be FSW's fault because the problem I am having with the picture isn't occuring on any other channels.

Watching the taped rebroadcast of Leeds vs Man City on local Fox Sports Net, I saw the same thing, much worse than anything else on the channel.

A bit worse than early espn coverage of world cup.

(Generally espn has clear picture of Champion's League).

Probably a combination of compression and also conversion of the picture from the English format to that used in the USA. FSW probably has a smaller budget than ESPN International for quality conversion equipment.
