Do you think ESPN and ESPN2 will be airing every WCQ match this year? I know that ESPN classic aired some last year, but seeing how these matches are more important, don't you think that ESPN will be airing more of the matches...

I would guess them being more important is irrelevant.
What will matter is if ESPN/ESPN2 has something else to show (baseball, college football/basketball, etc.) or not. If they do, Classic it will be.

Sometimes you guys are just so pessimestic and you really do undermine our sport. In 2009, You will see all the games on ESPN 2/ESPN. The US v. Mexico is pencilled for ESPN2, but that could change to ESPN. They want to hype-up the games leading to the 2010 World Cup. You will see a replay of the games on ESPN classic. The 2010 World Cup could possibly break all previous World Cup ratings (even the one that was held in the US) or come close to it.

Although I undermine the sport, I actually hope you're right, and that all the games are in HD (which I doubt unfortunately).
But I'll bookmark this thread and call you out if you're wrong.

Well, remembering the the USA-Mexico match in 2005 was on ESPN Classic because of Disney's committment to college football...
