honestly, have no idea who we'll see in this one...with the 1st leg of the CC semi v Burnley on Tuesday, interesting to see who gets the nod. I'll go out on a limb and say Ledley rested though.

3 games in the next 10 days. This is the least important of them. I would say we rest a couple of players to get them ready for the next 2 games...the league cup semis and the league game away at wigan.
A win would be good but i would take any result(if a loss) as long as their performance can be better than the last 2 games.

We have no strikers. Heskey and Zaki injured. Kapo roumoured to have returned to France to tie up a transfer and Camara has thrown his toys out the pram again. Kirkland and Cattermole also out.
I'd rather lose than face a replay.

We are going to field a terrible team from what I have read from Redknapp's quotes. I want to do well in all cup comps but this is not really important. I still want a win though.

I'd trade a loss here for 3 points against them in the league next week.
I really want to see some attacking threat. This inability to score is not my Tottenham. Maybe an appearance from Dos Santos if he's ready? Or Bostock or someone.

NOTE - very unusually, this is a FRIDAY NIGHT game so be on the lookout for it tomorrow, January 2.
In the US it's on Setanta from 2.30 Eastern.

I have a feeling we'll have a few regular starters and some fringe players in the starting 11. Jenas, Huddlestone, Assou-Ekotto, and King are all out. Something like this perhaps:
Gomes
Gunter Dawson Corluka Bale
Zokora
Bentley O'Hara Bostock
Taarabt
Bent
Right now, this game means much less than it really should. The Carling Cup semi is more important, and we have so much to fight for in the league right now, so I'll forgive Harry if he puts an understrength lineup out there.

Looks like both teams will be fielding a weakened side...
Zaki, Heskey and Kirkland will all not be risked in this game.
"There are lots of games, too many in all honesty. They are coming thick and fast and there is not time to get your breath," Redknapp said. "With a squad of this size, we're fighting on too many fronts. If we were sitting in the top half maybe we wouldn't be bothered but when you are where we are, you could do without all these games."

I would love to see Taraabt and Bostock in there tomorrow. Kinda like a reverse Arsenal in the Carling Cup. Lets play our youngsters in the The FA Cup this year. To be honest, I really don't care about it this year. We're a few wins from the Carling Cup and we're fighting in a relegation battle. This is the least of our priorities. And, as blasphemous as this might sound, I almost hope we crash out of the UEFA Cup in the round of 32 so we can concentrate squarely on the league from March-May.

Will be interesting to see what team we play, the league is more important though.

We look pretty good when we're knocking it around on the floor. Dangerous free kick to us.

One thing... How the hell do you hit a one man wall on a free kick? Come on Bentley
However, his 2nd delivery almost got us a OG.
