I rented this game tonight. It's probably as good as Madden in terms of gameplay. But the little bells and whistles in this game are great, I'd love for sega to do this with a soccer game.

First there is the Sportscenter intro where Dan Patrick introduces the game.

There is a post game show after the games, a weekly roundup and even a "play of the week" where they show a replay of the best play of the week, which could be from any game.

the career mode is outstanding, it all actually takes place in the office. you have a computer and a notebook to use.

I played madden for a bit too, i really liked Al Michaels even more than Summerall. I also liked that you could drive around in Maddens tour bus and give drills for the teams to run in thier camp.

Either way, NFL fans can't go wrong if they pick either of these games.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Which does help a lot... when I first got Madden 2003 earlier this week, I had trouble with the kicking and playing defense (I hadn't played a Madden game for a few years). After having practiced on those two things, the team I play as (usually the 49ers) win a lot more. :)
