A 30-year losing streak in Southampton haunts the lads as they visit St. Mary's for this Cup tie.

Wow 30 years is a pretty long time. I hadn't realized such a streak was hanging over our heads.

Now this is more like it!
We're up 2-0 in the first half thanks to Robert and Dyer.

Our lineup for this game:
Given, Bernard, Bramble, Hughes, Woodgate, Dyer, Jenas, Robert, Solano, Speed, Shearer
Sounds like we ought to keep the same starting 11 for our next match.

Now its 3-0, halfway through the second half, thanks to Dyer again. Glad to have him back!

Great goal by Dyer, he ran from the half way line after picking up a Shearer flick, beat two men before slamming it into the net.

Phenominal performance by the lads. I wasn't able to watch or listen, but sounds like they were really playing together well. Welcome back Woody and Dyer. I'm looking forward to a return from Bellamy as well.

It was 32 years since we won and everyone played well especially Dyer, Woodgate and Nobby. 2 goals for Dyer but will it be another 11 months untill his next?
