Darling Facist Bullyboys,
Give us our coach you bastards. May the seed of your loins be fruitful in the belly of your women.

oh god,
why
am I so much more sensitive than everybody else ?
why
do I feel things so much more acutely than them,
and understand so much more.
I bet I'm the first person who's ever felt as rotten as this.
could it be
that I'm going to grow up
to be a great poet and thinker, and all those other wankers in my
class are going to have to work in factories or go on the dole?
yes, I think it could. :D

Freddy will pick the new coach after he has been drafted.
Decisions on who will be picked in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th... rounds will be made by Freddy as well.

The draft is only 15 days away. We do need a coach NOW! I hope all coaching candidates are doing their scouting before they're hired for the job.

quite clever! but honestly, without a coach, he is probably just as qualified as anyone to make the decision! LOL

I bet they announce it on Monday. With all the Spurrier hoopla dying out and most of the bowl games over, they could grab some big media attention when it's announced. I hope they have alot of players present (especially Freddy) when they have their news conference to introduce the coach.

Any word on who it's gonna be? The guy from Man City and the Terp's coach are on my short list.

I'm still sticking with Nowak.

Its the Man City coach (Osorio) Nowak or Hamlett, with Hamlett being the darkhorse and basically has no chance of making it.
Also, I thought Trask was doing most of the college scouting anyway so I think we're covered there.

I think it will be Tuesday or Wednesday of next week as that is when most announcements are usually made. Nowak is pretty much the favorite at this point with Osario as the second. Whichever one is picked, he certainly have a lot to do in a week and a half.

Maybe this has been discussed on other threads, but I wonder why Curt Onalfo was not considered for the position? IMHO, he has at least as much experience as any of the three persons named as potential coaches, in two cases (Nowak & Osorio) perhaps more.

Nowak's the favorite. I see him as conservative bold move in that he has no coaching expierence but everybody thinks he can do the job.

I sincerly hope they aren't waiting for the Skins media coverage to die down. This is DC after all. skins media coverage never dies down.

Who ever they pick, they sure better figure out how we can score some more goals.

Why does everyone think we need a coach? We had a coach each of the last 4 years and look where it got us.
I say we go coachless and let the players figure out what they're going to do.

I had a dream last night that I was at the season opener and Nowak was the coach. Of course, I was also refereeing the match, so take that for what it's worth.

Isn't that what it was like last season? I certainly remember our players running around on the field trying to organize themselves with little to no success.

And that was with a coach on the field
OK, time to keep an eye on which of the three candidates has recently (or will soon) purchased a plane ticket to DC for the press conference :)

With our luck. The DC coach will be on a flight that gets turned back from Dulles. ;)
