Arrived in Orlando earlier this afternoon. 15 hour drive, straight thru. Checked into the room and went for a run.
Tonight is the referee meeting. Brain Hall is the instructor. Games start tomorrow. 1 center, 1 line for me, both U19 showcase.

Thanks for starting this thread. Please ask Andy to join in and give updates. Spread the word to the rest of the MS, AR & TN sojourners and give us all the daily details.
I "laid the groundwork" with my wife Christmas eve when one of my referee buds stopped by, so it looks like I will be joining y'all in 09.

Andy...we miss you man.
Today was the first day of boys pool play. I had a showcase match, Chicago Fire(1)v CASL(0). Great match, all the boys came to play.
Tonight, Chelsea FC sponsored a reception for the coaches and referees. Good food and drink. Chelsea put on a presentation about their organization. Very interesting. You really see this is not just a local soccer club but a multi million dollar corporation.
Tomorrow, another showcase match(yea).
Today, high 78 degrees, currently, 64 degrees.
Well, I'm off to the hot tub.

Today was my late night. 6:30/8:30. U19 Showcase, my center, Baltimore Bays(MD) (1) vs. United FC(KY) (3). Another great match. Very physical but under control. The talent on both of these teams was amazing. Only 1 caution for a clearly reckless tackle. I actually called very few fouls.
Tomorrow, I am at one the remote complexes.
Weather here is still fantastic.

Another day in paradise.
Yesterday, I had U15 match. Mostly baby sitting until the the last 12 minutes. That is when one the teams realized that 1 more goal put them in the final. They didn't score. I think I ran more in those last 12 minute than I did in the first 68. No cautions or send offs. The other fields, not so much. There were 4 send offs and a coach ejection at the same time as my game on other fields.
Decided to be a tourist last night. Our group went to Downtown Disney and we ate at Planet Hollywood.
Today, I have U16 final. Tomorrow, the girls start.
Currently sunny, 61 degrees with a high today of 72 degrees.

Since no one yet has, I'll thank you for the updates, if just for a view from a warmer place than here. :)
Stay well.
