a few years back, i saw a jersey which was supposed to be the jersey for a basque reigon team.. as in a "national" team (i understand the politics of the reigon and its not independent and inside spain and france) but i thought i read somewhere that they were going to be allowed a team, much like a "palestine" team.. you guys know anything about this

There is an informal team. I don't believe they have any FIFA recognition. They only play friendlies - maybe once a year. I'm sure you'll get more info from some of the regulars on this board.

They will not be allowed by Fifa, the spanish FA does not want it and it is against their by-laws I believe.
