Since it's so much fun to do the ol' "I told ya so", I'm doing it again.

The manager for Leeds United, Eddie Gray, missed the recent game against ManCity for his daughters wedding. If the manager of a club in England can miss a game for a family wedding, it's time to say sorry to Warren and deal with the fact that the game still isn't as important as family.

Big difference between a daughter's wedding and a sister's.

Even bigger difference between coach and player.

Whatever...it's easy to sit back and judge people when it's not you isn't it? Family is family and I think that it's great he did what he did, he wasn't the first and he won't be the last....

Really? They both are part of your immediate family.

More so Gray is the manager. He's the top dog that runs the team. Warren is a GK. While that's still important, he's only 1 of 11 on the field for the team whereas the manager is in charge of the tactics, formation and such for all 11.

...when a game is more important that family. And you must remember that when Warren made plans for the wedding he was a back-up that had no chance of playing in a league match down the stretch. If Nick doesn't tear his ACL then you never even hear this story....

I can't even believe we're still talking about this crap.

Ditto.

If I had a sibling getting married, I would certainly take the day off work. Hell, my sister just got married on a Saturday in August and I took two days off (the Thursday and Friday before the wedding), and so did my wife.
