Who is gonna come up on top?

Will the Quakes unbeaten streak at home go on?

OPEN CUP or not, LA won in San Jose 2 weeks ago. Saturday's game is being played in DENVER!

If Carrieri and Donovan got into a fight who would land a punch?

Fight regardless, it may be time to go back to 4 in the back and counterattack the Quakes into submission. No time for a trackmeet/shootout, seeing as the Quake attack would leave the Raps in the dust. Something tells me it's circle the wagons and pull out a victory time.

have any of you ever noticed how fragile Donovan is? my god! everytime that kid goes down, it looks so much more horrible than it really is. the best memory i have of donovan crying is when El Pibe got a red card for tripping him (granted, it was pretty bad), and the kid looked like he was gonna die. i think that happened twice that game. everytime Donovan went down, the tears started coming...metaphorically speaking of course.

Wow. That's really sad. Imagine his reaction if he REALLY got hurt...

And I've been wondering what I should do with that giant anvil...

Quakes can be had on the road. The bigger field(s) open up more space in the midfield and in the back and their defense can't close the spaces as fast as at home. The key is shutting down Golden Boy and Ariel "the Diva" Graziani (as my girlfriend likes to call him) in check for the first 45, to give a chance for Hendo, Carrieri and Co. to find some of that space and grab a lead.

Pablo needs to work his *ss off to shut down the Ekelund & Mulrooney combo.

You would think with a week off since last game the Rapids would be well rested and have fresher legs than the Quakes. It could be a determining factor.

Carrieri by a knockout.
