DERBY DAY GUYS.

Game starts now, 15 minutes delay. Basically K** supporters blocked up the VfB fan bus so it arrived later. But Felix Brych was cool about it and delayed the start of the match. Kickoff is now.


Niedermaier debuts today. And Gebhart is in the first 11 for the first time as well!

Niedermaier debuts today. And Gebhart is in the first 11 for the first time as well!

Weird weird lineup in general:

Niedermaier obviously debuts in central defence then, despite playing well midweek, Traesch is benched for Magnin. I'm not too pleased about that.

Then total change on the wings: Gebhart debuts on the right wing - and Elson is in the starting 11 on the left. Finally Lanig also starts, instead of Hitzlsperger in central midfield. The last decision I don't get at all, Hammer has been one of our best rueckrunde players and you don't drop the captain for a derby!! Very weird.

Finally, one more surprise: Marica back in the first 11, Cacau on the bench.

So, overall 6 changes from midweek. Very experimental. And it doesn't make me optimistic.

Okay, well Magnin just did the EXACT same ********ing thing he did against Hoffenheim, lost a one-on-one to his man then tried to pull back the player after he passed, in the penalty box.

We're kinda lucky not to have been penalised for that, Magnin acting like a fool.


K** are better so far.

I still don't get why he starts instead of Hitz to be honest. I wouldn't mind having him on the leftwing instead of Simak, but not in Hitz's position.

I think Babbel experimented a bit too much for this game. But as the game has gone on we've gotten better and more involved. We'll see what the second half brings.

Yeah, I don't really think starting three new guys is the way to go for a derby match.

I know I took some flack for saying it, but I wasn't impressed with our midfielders against Zenit and apparently Babbel felt the same.
