Hey, the streams for this match were hard to find, so can someone who saw this match describe a bit how Mike Bradley did? He played the whole game, so I don't think he played badly?
Better luck next time, and I hope Gladbach stays up this year.

If anyone knows anything about football, they would also know about "Hans Meyer" and how great of a coach he is...so if he finds a system fit ( considering our current situation at the table and players we have at our service) for "GLADBACH" that system is the right one! I think its more our players (From a Mental standpoint) and not our system of play, That we cant get the results we need not our tactical formation..but one thing that is 100% solid is hans meyer and his vision of the game...so people can comment all they want, who cares what system we play...am sure its whats best for us!
Sucks that i couldnt find a live-stream either...hope we can find a way around it!

I think he didn't do a bad job (better than he was rated by that "Kicker" blind fish). Let's wait up the detailed "Torfabrik" ratings tomorrow...

Thanx. It's gonna be tough, but I'm confident that we'll reach at least spot 16 (what means we can save our ass in 2 relegation games against the 3rd of the 2 Bundesliga - hopefully it won't be my local club).

Yep. He's the boss ... and not BLÖD.
The interesting thing is that we played a lot better without Marin, so HM's decision seems to be justified. When Marko came in immediately after the 0:1, we didn't manage to create 1 single scoring opportunity. He's surely a great player, but even great players can get benched sometimes (especially in away games). I'm pretty sure that he'll return to the 'starting eleven' against Hoffenheim...

Wasn't there any "adthe.net" livestream for the fans abroad this time?

Meyer is a Ossi though. And Gladbach are the westernmost club in 1. Bundesliga. Cultural problems? :)

No, there's absolutely no "cultural problems"! Hans Meyer knows the club very well (he was pretty successful here in former days, when he brought us back to the 1 BL and established the club), is honorary member of Borussia and is respected by all those who don't give a shit about the boulevard press. His character & humour are well known in MG (except for the BLÖD), so don't worry...
If you want to know why the BLÖD hates him so much, just have a look HERE (http://www.fanlager.de/fussball-stammtisch/hans-meyer-interview-3878.html)
Btw: HM worked successfully in an even more western club before he came to the BL, having been Twente Enschede's headcoach for 3 years (Fred Rutten was his assistant) ... without any "cultural problems".

Haha...I know that Borussia, don't take it so seriously. Look at the bright side of things. My club is total utter shit on many levels these days, if I would get wound up like you, I'd probably have a heart attack by now.

Why did Meyer employ a 5-4-1 strategy? Have they been working on it lately? With the lineup there I would have gone 4-4-2, have Brouwers shift to CB, Galasek to DM (where he's best) and have Stalteri and Daems go to more of a fullback instead of wingback configuration.

We didn't play 5:4:1 but 3:6:1 resp. 3:4:2:1.

And like against Dortmund, we were the better team in the first half (and also 20 minutes after the interval). So far about our "destructive tactics" (Bielefeld had 30 % ball possession in Bremen ... but of course they were fantastic because they won)...
Btw: Baumjohann's move to Munich is official now.

They haven't been 'great' at all, we've just been total crap that we actually managed to lose against them at home, for the first time ever. Yes, I'm still not over it...

Respect for Hoffenheim
Bottom of the table Borussia host league leaders 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday. And at today's pre-match press conference Hans Meyer expressed his respect for the visitors.

Spot 18 against spot 1 ... sounds as if we won't have a chance; but I have a good feeling that we won't lose our 6th match in a row (although Dante still isn't available and Colautti doubtful). We can't always have bad luck, nearby I'm sure that our guys will give Hoffenheim a hell of a fight (knowing about our serious situation)! Their defence is vulnerable, so I don't think we're without a chance if we manage to control their attack.
Here's the "starting eleven" I expect on Saturday:
.......................................Bailly
Stalteri............Gohouri............Brouwers(Daems)..........Daems(Dorda)
.......................Bradley..................Galasek
Matmour.......................Baumjohann..........................Marin

I personally don't think that Alberman is good enough for the Bundesliga, he would be good in the Eredivisie or the Belgian league...
Luckily the sport channel broadcast the game last week, but I have a problem tomorrow. Can someone post a link that is not bwin?

Why not? He has proven his quality in a few games so far. His problem is the lack of consistency ... but that's quite normal for a foreign player who still needs to adjust to the physical & aggressive style in the Bundesliga.
After Galasek's signing, it was pretty clear that Bradley, Alberman and Paauwe would fight for the second spot in the defensive midfield. We need all players in order to achieve the difficult task of keeping the league, and I'm sure that Gal will become important during the rest of the season.

Currently I don't know any link. Just try these 2 sites a few minutes before the start of the game ...

... and let's hope they will provide a livestream.
Bonne nuit.
PS: Roberto is fit and will be available this afternoon. It's time to score his first 1 BL goal when he comes in after the interval, isn't it? :-)

Damn, it looks like there won't be a livestream for our game again. :( Well, "Frankfurt vs Cologne" seems to be more interesting...
I feel sorry for you, guys. I'm off now to watch the match on tv.
Auf geht's, Jungs!
Btw: Borussia & Logan Bailly will get support from about 200 fans from Gent (Belgium) in the Südkurve (directly behind the goal). I bet they'll be louder than the 600 Hoppenheim fans...:p
