Yes my friend and thanks for sending me a personal e mail if anyone I expected UAE to do love to see brunos old photos I still can't log on to bigsoccer so I use my I phone which sucks:(. Www.fotobahn.com so finally matchbox gonzo to Bremen eh? Shame I think he was worth spending the money and keeping him at least for another year but oh well the new breed of players don't have much of a backbone when big money is offered! Www.fotobahn.com

It's looking even worse than I had imagined.

I fear the club won't sell many of those new tops...

We'll never forget the great moments you brought us!

It's always sad to lose a big talent ... but well, we got used to it in the meanwhile. He brought us some good cash (€ 8.5 million) at least.

Naz, it was his decision to move to Bremen (where he can play internationally & for the championship) ... so we have to accept it. At least we got some good money for him ... next season he'd have left us for free.

Marko will hopefully be replaced by Juan Arango (good & experienced midfielder) from Mallorca. It seems that the transfer is already perfect, but gets delayed due to differences between the player & his old club (apparently, Mallorca still owes him some money).

Btw: Hans Meyer visited the team during the 1-week training camp in Bad Blankenburg (Thuringia; not far away from Nuremberg).

The Spanish press reports Arango: Case closed (http://www.ultimahora.es/segunda.dba?-1+9+478577), and Arango's management confirms his move to Gladbach, so I assume Borussia will present him to the public this week. I think Arango, Bobadilla and Meeuwis should make up for the loss of Marin, Baumjohann and Galasek with a switch from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2. It's still an open question to me if we want to sign a new CB. Very strong interest in Onyewu, and no plans to strengthen the back line anymore after he didn't sign?

First round of the DFB-Pokal:
FSV Frankfurt vs Borussia Mönchengladbach
One of the toughest lots, Frankfurt is a BL2 team, and is perhaps on paper the best team we could meet in the first round; a respectable pro team, no leisure team from the 6th division. Anyway, we have to beat them of course.

Btw: The team finished the 1-week preparation trip to the federal state Thüringen with a 8:0 win against the 6th league squad from Gotha (3 goals from our youngster Fabian Bäcker, 2 goals from Colautti & Neuville, 1 goal from Marx). Michael Frontzeck seems to be very content:

I am going to be in Cologne on December 12th of this year, and would love to get to my first Borussia match (vs Hannover). Are US residents able to buy tickets online and have them shipped or picked up? Or will I have to try mu luck at the stadium on the day of the game? I know one is not always able to purchase tickets without proper membership. The website currently does not have a link to buy indiviual match tickets.

Thanks for any info!

You can buy tickets on line from the US. There are restrictions for the fan sections as I recall. Keep checking the site for the start of ticket sales. I did this in 2005 for the match vs Mainz in April and the team actually mailed the ticket to me, well in advance. I also did this for the Schalke at Hertha BSC match the same month, though in that case I had to pick up the ticket with ID at will call (and the service charge was more than what Borussia charged me!). This is a better plan than trying to get tickets in person--in both cases the games I wanted to attend had sold out by the time I got to Germany.

Don't worry mate, I can assure you that you'll get a ticket for that game directly at the stadium (on matchday). ;)

Btw: Have a look who was seen with the Greuther Fürth boss a few days ago. Hans, are you ready for getting the 2nd league "dino" promoted? ;)

For some reason the website does not-load up on my browser....so i have to log on with my i-phone or on other locations,it might be some configuration problem...anyway its really annoying!

Regarding bruns...not to sound conceded or anything ut i would place BRUNS above martin dahlin,Bruns was an all-round football machine..efficient,technical,strong & physical...& a smart cordinator on the field with great scoring capacity so....to be the 9th all time player at a club like gladbach is legendary but i think the rating is not very accurate!

I would also add "Uli borowka" to that list!

PS: I think we will have a 'Deadly-Triangle' this eason in Dante, bobadilla and arango...keeping my fingers crossed tho!
