Guys,
Remember what I said as few months ago to keep the faith.
So for our new Coach let's all get behind him.
Until at least the first match.

Hey Mr.VFL nobody on this board was quitting..but adding up all the events that our team went thru plus our lack of performance and only so many games left to collect enough points to survive the season..would make a healthy brain wonder,Id say the gods helped us and with a few crucial win which nobody expected here we are standing again....But as much as loved Michael frontzek i think they could have looked around a bit more! Anyway lets hope our new talents bring some new life to this club...

Welcome back home, Michael Frontzeck! He had to cope with modest resources in Aachen & Bielefeld and did a pretty good job, nevertheless (unlucky last-minute relegation with the newly promoted Alemannia team, avoiding relegation with Arminia last season and - thankfully for us - being a little bit unlucky at the end of this season, getting fired by a crazy Bielefeld board before last matchday on a relegation spot). Apparently he fits perfectly in Max Eberl's & Rainer Bonhof's selection criterias (I'm also sure that Hans Meyer was involved as well), nearby he's a true Borusse (still living in Mönchengladbach) and knows the club & BMG environment. He's surely not the "big name" some dreamers among our fanship may have expected (well, we made our own experiences with so-called "top managers" ā la Advocaat & Heynckes in the past), but this doesn't have to be a handicap. He's getting the chance to establish us in the 1 Bundesliga after the late rescue of this season and will have more financial scope than it was the case in Blödefeld.

I would have thought Meyer would have had a big hand in the appointmnet.
As for looking around a bit longer who is out there!
We need and have somebody who can start straight away.
My 1st season watching VFL with the Cloggie was dire, the only good thing he did was bring Kasey K in.

Hey guys...
I'm worried about the new/old manager. Seems like he have a bad record as a manager, and not something we should aim for next season. I didn't see in the article, what's his price?
I think Lothar Mattheus should have got a chance in Gladbach. He was excellent this year, and he's very professional. Of course the Israeli league it's not even close to the Bundesliga level, and the fact that he doesn't have experience there as a manager don't serve him. But, he did succeed everywhere he coached so far...
Anyway that's just a personal thought, maybe I'm wrong but, it seems like I'm going to miss Meyer...
What about Colautti and Alberman? Are they staying? How long is their contract with the club?

Actually ill pick Michael Frontzeck anyday over lothar,as a coach i mean! Frontzeck used to wear our number 3 jersey as a defensive winger and he was an extremely smart player..and he has alot of love in his heart for gladbah since he had his golden years here with us,Bernd Krauss didnt do that bad at gldbach..maybe frontzeck can do better....i was hoping why would they not hire "BRUNS"...LOL :D

Just read my above statement.
I think Lothar Mattheus should have got a chance in Gladbach.
Do you badly want to get rid of him? ;) Let him win the championship with Netanya first! :-))

Gal will definitely stay. I'm not sure about Roberto, since there are rumours about a comeback in Haifa.

Where did you read that? Do you have any sources?
EDIT: You seem to be true, there's some rumours in the official BMG forum (I don't have a look there very often lately) about this topic.

But to be honest, I don't think we can afford signing him.
Btw: There's rumours that we might be interested in signing Artur Wichniarek from Arminia Bielefeld. Let's wait up...

Naz, I think it might not look as bad as we fear (red would be even worse).

Bad news for Rob Friend. While being on vacation in Croatia, he's been confronted with a housebreaking.:mad: Both of his cars got stolen, and it seems that the burglars also searched through the whole house.
