Seriously life, sport is all about opinions, which are private property.
All I want is Gladbach to do well.
3 points or even 1 point will be very welcome this weekend.

Empty-handed
After yesterday's game against VfL Wolfsburg the experts were of one mind. Borussia played some really good football at times, but in the end it was the visitors who took the points.

Let's hope he'll get fit on time ... if not, we're without central striker in Frankfurt.

ExtraVoetbal claims that Onyewu will move to Borussia Monchengladbach if they are able to keep themselves in the first flight of German football, a move that would unite Onyewu with midfielder Michael Bradley, a fellow USMNT player.
...
The 26-year-old has been courted by M’Gladbach of late and has been seen taking in their match against Bochum at Borussia Park on March 20th. According to the site, he’s also met with the technical director of M’Gladbach, Max Eberle recently to discuss the preliminary arrangements of a contract.

Agree with this sentiment.
TF have it about right.
Kicker very generous to our centre midfiled.

As I'm not on Easter vacation this year, I decided to travel to Frankfurt with 2 friends. Unfortunately, we don't have tickets (the away section and apparently whole stadium has been sold out for weeks) ... so our only chance is to try purchasing tix on the black market (like Munich 2 years ago). It's surely risky, but also worth to have a try ... because it's a very important match and since I haven't seen the new Frankfurt stadium yet (the main stand was under construction when I was there with Gladbach & Fürth). Well, if we don't manage to get tix, we'll have a nice train trip to Mainhattan (weekend ticket for € 37) at least and watch the game in an Old Town pub there.

Gal Alberman has joined the three players already on the injury list and will miss Saturday's trip to Eintracht Frankfurt, Hans Meyer announced at today's press conference.

All that counts in Frankfurt, is AT LEAST 1 point! I hope that our guys have realized the seriousness of our situation...
Bonne nuit.
PS: About 6,000-7,000 BMG fans will officially support the team (whole guest section is sold out). Hopefully there's a black market in Frankfurt for me and my 2 mates. :-))

Good luck finding a ticket. Hope the team wont disappoint you.
Such a bad luck so many injuries lately. Our chances to win this game are very slim. :(

The problem with posting/chatting online is the fact that it lacks facial expression..so its tough to actually get a feel for what some people have to say or post..but i sense some anger towards hans-meyer..its ok we dont have to all agree on everything..but anyone that knows anything would agree that meyer is the best thing that has happened to this club in the past few years!
Lets take a look at the other candidates that might have filled in instead of meyer??? none can even be compared to meyers experience and qualifications..the guy has proven himself many times and thru the years with gladbach and with other outfits...i dont care if his a god because am not sure what god looks like or if he even is willing to coach a football team...
Specially when you look at what meyer has to work with and what kind of budget we have..its not like we have 4-5 top notch players in every post and we just need a genius to send in the right players and select the right formation and tactics...even if we look back at the golden years and 70s up to 2009 id say meyer is way up there and among the 3 top coaches that gladbach has had...again considering the tools meyer has had at its disposal he has done a great and outstanding job!
I dont speak in riddles so if somebody has a problem with meyer ..lets spit it out and squash this issue..after all there is nothing like constructive feedback and a legit opinion...if not then lets not point fingers here...And yes at this point and time its all about HOW BAD our players want "IT" compared to the other bottom of the table teams...and mentally how focused we can be..and not hit the panic button just yet!
The fact that our strikers simply cannot score in every game..or our D-LINE hands over the ball all the time...has nothing to do with hans meyer!
Last but not least...when u watch meyer on the bench you instantly see how much love & passion he has for gladbach...its genuine and very true and thats the sign of a great coach...i sure hope we survive this season..and see how meyer can take this club to its rightful place..once he has some piece of mind and time to lay out a proper foundation!
I agree with everything, but I understand some critics.
When any team doesn't succeed, there's always 2 to blame, either the coach or the players. I can give you example from my home team, some of our fans blame Mattheus while the majority support him and blame the players and the management.
Hans Meyer doing the best he can with what he have. The players have to believe in themselves more to survive this season.

When any team doesn't succeed, there's always 2 to blame, either the coach or the players.
You miss out the third area to blame and the most important.
The Club/Committee/Owners whatever/whomever they are.
They appoint the Coach, direction and provide the funds for players.
Gladbach have not been well served over the past 5 seasons.
Hopefully what ever happens this season a long term policy can be implemented that will be the only way to go forward.

Just arrived from Frankfurt (the 20:34 o/c train had a 1 hour delay due to a tragic accident with a person, so I missed the last metro in Nuremberg and had to wait 1 hour for the nightliner bus) and am still that pissed off, disappointed, shocked and sad about the performance ... that I better don't make any comment at the moment and sleep a night over this. If the team has some honour and character, it's going to apologize to the faithfull 7,000 fans!
2. Liga, wir kommen...
Btw: Almost all players sucked today ... but Baumjohann, Bradley, Stalteri, Matmour and Colautti (not one single shot during the 90 minutes) were absolutely awful! At least Lamidi (who came for Baumjohann) with a sign of hope.

Just saw the highlights and i cant be even bothered to repeat the same old story about this team ! Plain and simple it was 'EMBARASSING"...am scared to say it but seems like the players are indifferent or something and almost given-up on this season...our D-LINE was a complete joke, tired looking and very flat...almost like they didnt wanna be there or something!
And whats with MB taking the PK for us??...i could have thought of at least 5 other players that are better PK experts in our squad this one is on Meyer am affraid....anyway i think we needed at least 1 point from this game combined with a win next week to have a chance this season..right now i think 2.liga is looking pretty bright for us....who knows how many players would even wanna play for us if we go down to the 2.liga....and the same old story goes on for this unfortunate club!

Guys,
Do not write us off just yet.
Emotions are always a bad start point for assessing performances.
It is still in our hands.

You guys basically have to win next week. If you, you're not in a bad position.

Well, Gladbach still has every chance to avoid relegation. Its not like Cotbus and Karlsruhe will collect too many points in the rest of the season and Bielefeld should be stuck way down there aswell until the very end. But yeah, the way they played yesterday it will be tough. Gladbach never looked like they were the team that HAD to win his game yesterday... :/

If you, you're not in a bad position.
If you notice our fixtures after the Bielefeld game, you can see that our situation will remain bad even after a home win against Bielefeld.
Of course we still have a chance, but it seems like the players accepted it already.
I hope that our manager is gonna kick some asses during the next days. Hans, please crack the whip!
Gladbach never looked like they were the team that HAD to win his game yesterday...
That's what still makes me furious and speechless! Without not knowing the table situation, you could get the impression that we are in a comfortable situation and were pleased to reach a draw (I noticed our first corner kick after incredible 67 mins). We played like an "Absteiger" for more than 70 minutes ... and this in a very important game. Simply unbelievable!! Frankfurt was far from good ... and nevertheless, managed to score 4 goals. This tells one all about our 'non-performance'.
The first 10-15 mins were ok ... but after missing that 100 % scoring opportunity by Marin, our play suddenly got worse from minute to minute ... there were moments when I had to close my eyes because I couldn't bear the number of easy turnovers in the midfield! If you play with 10 men (Baumjohann was non-existant as playmaker) and can't pass the ball, you should try to avoid terrible mistakes at least ... however, our defence shamefully was as bad as the midfield. Everybody knows that Frankfurt is dangerous in set pieces situations ... but this didn't seem to bother our CB's (Brouwers before the 0:1 and Dante before the 1:3). Playing badly and then also gifting 4 easy goals to the opponent, is a joke and should have serious consequences for the upcoming weeks! I've rarely been that pissed off as I still am at the moment. Wft can we play well against teams from higher table spots and always suck against teams from the lower spots? If it should be a motivation problem, the guys need a kick in the ass...
Our performance finally improved a little but when Hans brought Lamidi for the disappointing Baumjohann (obviously he's mentally already in Munich) and Marin moved to the centre ... but if you can't even score from a pk and continue to make rookie mistakes in defence, there's no chance to turn around such a match.
7,000 + x BMG fans travelled to this important game in order to support the team (many of them had to pay a lot of money for a ticket) ... and all they got in return, was an embarrassing performance. Thank you very much, dear faceless players! I don't understand why Hans Meyer reacted like Jos Luhukay and sat quietly on the bench for almost the whole 90 minutes. I think I'd have exploded. :-))
Well, our situation is very serious now. If we don't beat Bielefeld, it's definitely over in my eyes. We'll probably need 8 points out of the last 6 games to secure at least spot 16...

Sunk in Frankfurt
Borussia lost 4-1 at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon. Filip Daems got his side's only goal from the penalty spot to make it 2-1.

Good luck finding a ticket.
Fortunately, about 200 remaining tickets (the most expensive ones - between 28 and 35 Euros) for the away section were sold at a stadium cash box 2.5 hours before the start of the game ... and as we had been there already at 11:30 am, we were among the first persons in the queue and managed to get tix (many other BMG fans without tix weren't that lucky, as the tickets got sold out within 10 minutes).
Here's lots of nice impressions from the Frankfurt trip (I know the city almost as well as Nuremberg:-):
