HAPPY BIRTHDAY UWE ;)
Vielen Dank.
So how old are you going to be??
I'm gonna tell you if you give away the secret of your birthday and age. ;)
Seems like " http://www.atdhe.net/ " is covering the game guys!
GOOD LUCK
;)
I'm happy for you. Unfortunately, I can't view the link here in Germany ... so I'm gonna watch the conference of all 3 Sunday games in a pub (directly after the 2nd league game "Aachen vs Fürth").
Good results for you guys - Bochum and Cottbus both lost today.
That's some kind of relief, indeed.

It's ok, I'm very pleased! ;) We could have also won the game (Colautti hits the bar in the first half, then gets wrongly called offside after 70 mins - when he would have been alone in front of the KSC goalie, Matmour misses in a 1:1 situation) ... but well, the hosts had 2-3 good chances too (i.e. hitting the bar), so the draw is a just result. We didn't invest enough offensively and clearly played for a 0:0, hoping to get counter-attack chances during the last 20 minutes of the game. Our defence did a great job (thanx to Dante) - except for Stalteri's bad positioning short time before the interval (which led to the hosts' biggest chance) and a tactical mistake in the 77th minute (when we ran in a counter attack and were lucky that their striker missed the goal alone in front of Bailly), so we finally managed to get the first clean sheet after the winter break. That's surely not that sensational against their attack, but also not that easy when knowing how desperate they were for finally scoring and getting the vital 3 points!
Unfortunately, we didn't manage to leave spot 16 ... however, we didn't allow KSC to reduce the 5-points lag to us and even made up a point to other relegation rivals.
Here's 2 match reports (in German) with stats & post-game reactions:

That's what I expected approximately (I'm 7 years younger, btw). Are you really sure that you are the oldest in this forum? I expect at least Ken to be older than you! :-)
Now Wolfburg is up next,Thats another huge one for us!!!
Of course it's gonna be very tough, and we are clear outsiders ... but that's the role which often suits us. Isn't it high time for Wolfsburg to finally drop some points after so many wins? :-)
Gute N8

That sounds pretty encouraging, indeed (I recall that superb "bycicle goal" from Sverki in 2004). ;)
But well, they have Dzeko & Grafite this time...

Dittsche just explained that Grafite is the connection between football and Michelle Obama. Maybe he plays in a pencil skirt next week.

Well, one point it's not that bad when you fighting relegation, but I'm worried about next week. We probably meeting Wolfsburg at the worst time. I've seen their game vs Bayern, they are really good, and I have a feeling they will take the championship...But, who knows, we might surprise again vs a top team :)

According to KICKER's review we didnt have much to say "up-front" and in terms of being creative with our game-plan we kindda sucked on sunday,If we survive the relegation battle this season...am sure Meyer is already thinking about adding some new players.I also hope Marin would stick around at least for another year!
And as far as wolfsburg goes..am not that worried, This season has proven that we play better against high ranking teams...also its about the right time that somebody pulls down wolfsburg back to earth..they are good and they have been playing some solid football.. but they are not "THAT GOOD"!
I hope we would get a full house of supporters for this game:confused::rolleyes:
We have a 50 year-old here?? sweet!
So Taff you must remember the UEFA CUP game against REAL MADRID..i cried for days after the result in madrid!

Oh lascho...so you feel my pain ma8, you know what was the massive heart breaker....real scored the 4th goal at the 89th min mark...that killed me!
I still havent come to terms...how that squad with a 5-1 victory couldnt manage the away leg..i dont care who you are up against..we had an exceptional squad at the time..with a 5-1 home victory at dusseldorf ...i still remember the atomsphere at the 1st leg...gladbach was totally on fire and attacking from the 1 seconds of the game..and real was running around..like headless chickens on the pitch..i even remember..it was like 5 min into the game..that Uli borowka released a missile..from outside the penalty area...boy even thinking about it makes me smile right now!

Scoreless in Karlsruhe
Borussia's defence remained unbreached in the key away fixture at Karlsruhe on Sunday. But because they were unable to score despite fashioning several good chances, the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

That's our hope. Isn't it high time for Wolfsburg to drop points...? :-))
The games against Bremen, Bayern, Hamburg and Hoffenheim have demonstrated that we obviously feel more comfortable with the outsider role. VW still has to beat us in a full Borussia-Park...

A positive summary
Although Borussia were unable to mount much of an attacking threat against Karlsruhe, the unanimous view on Sunday evening was that it was a point gained.
