Borussia lodge appeal
Borussia Mönchengladbach have lodged an official appeal over the 1-1 draw against 1899 Hoffenheim on matchday 19.

Two Hoffenheim players had arrived ten minutes late for the post-match drugs test.

Borussia had been informed by the DFB and have decided to lodge an appeal.

Maybe just maybe..the football gods will turn the result around...just imagine??even the thought is nice...but i highly doubt they would touch hoffi

With our luck this season, the DFB would call for a replay, which we would end up losing....

Dont say that, think positive..if they re really at fault...it will not be a re-match,it would be a very sweet 3-0 win for us,i doubt they woulddo that..but at the same time..it very well may happen...and to be honest that game should have been won by us...so perhaps..somebody up there is watching outforus:):D

Good luck with that decision, those 3 points wouldn't hurt. Nice win against Hannover too, this team can really compete when they're in the mood.

I saw every BMG game before the winter break, and since then I have not seen a single one. Does anyone know of any sites, or anything else, that would allow someone in the US to watch the games, preferably for free?

I don't think there will be a replay. It's about a suspension of the players + all 3 points for us or just the suspension. To be honest, I don't care how the DFB decides ... since I don't need gifted points (although the Hoffenheim goal was offside).

There was a site (www.adthe.net) with livestreams of all BL games before the winter break (without comment) ... however, it seems that they bring only 2-3 games lately (as it's the case with livefooty.com).

If you are interested, you can sign "Fohlen.TV" on www.borussia.de and watch the BMG games in full length (+ highlights of the other matches) just a few minutes after the final whistle. The fee per month is € 5.

hoffies goal against us was a CLEAR-OFF SIDE, so as much as i dont think they would reverse the reult..but there is a chance they might..and i would take those 3 gifted points because it was an off-side!:)

Oh and i dont wear glasses nor do i need them..i saw it from almost 6 different angles!

My suggestion is to buy the shirt (either from the team or you could try eBay) and then send it to RWO, where Bruns currrently is, with enough money for return postage. Usually teams will have items autographed on that basis--but you could e-mail him directly first. Their general address is:

info@rwo-online.de (info@rwo-online.de)

Okay thanks. No worries, I can just read everyones excellent descriptions of the matches. It sounds like the linesman has been missing some of the action as well. Definetely offsides.

Linesmen you said?? what a faccccking joke...they constantly screwed us...almost as if they where out for us for some reason...number of games we could have won is countless..if the refs and the linesmen had done their jobs right!

Its even sad to think how many points we gave away to the sub-standard officiating in the games...specially in the first half of the season!

Naz, I can't get a number 7 Gladbach shirt for you until the game between Fürth & Oberhausen (nearby it's not sure that I'll even meet Hans-Günter Bruns after that game). Therefore my proposal: You order a Nr. 7 Gladbach shirt from the official BMG fanshop or Ebay, I will try to get a pretty large signature from HGB in the case I should manage to meet him ... and send it to you via imageshack link. Then you print it out and go to a shop where it's possible to label the signature on your shirt. D'accordo? And if I shouldn't meet him in Fürth, I'll try to send an e-mail to RWO and ask for his signature.

Cheers.

I think it's time for Berlin to finally drop points again at Olympiastadion after the impressive latest home run, so a repetition of their last home match against Cottbus would be nice. Everybody expects the hosts to get a must-win against the bottom team ... and that's our chance if we play as we did in Stuttgart over 70 minutes (and not as it was the case in Bremen). Hans Meyer will surely enjoy his return to Berlin (they were in the same situation like us when he took over there and saved them from relegation), but has no gifts to make! In our current situation, we need every point ... so we should try anything to remain unbeaten in the 4th game in a row despite being the clear outsiders.

Unfortunately, our "brain" Tomas Galasek is still doubtful ... so let's hope he'll get fit on time and will be able to play. Moses Lamidi surprisingly is in the squad for Berlin, whereas Dante still won't be available.

Have a nice day.

Galasek not 100 % fit after his stomach flu ... and now Gohouri injured in training. If both won't be able to play, it's surely gonna be a huge handicap for us! :(

Let's hope for the best...
